AMPHAR Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 Risner would be a decent add. Not sure if it will happen but there's a couple guys that have been available and for whatever reason haven't gotten phone calls from anybody. League can be weird like that. Quinton Spain went from starting in the Superbowl to no one wanting him not even for a look. Quote

That's because Quinton Spain fluffed the block that cost us the super bowl and everyone saw it, so no one wanted him. Quote
TJJackson Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 Hehe. in all seriousness, I consider the pass blocking issues to be just as serious as the pass rushing problems on this team Maybe a bit more serious since it involves Burrow's health, and he is one of my neighbors :-) Risner is arguably THE best pass blocker in the FA market Quote
Stripes Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 I’d love to have Risner. We’re going to do squat until the draft. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted April 4 Author Report Posted April 4 I’m surprised Risner is still out there. I honestly lost track because I thought he was gone. Agree they should sign him. Much better than anything we current have on the roster. I’m sure asking price may be a concerning thought, but he’s a starter for us for sure. Quote
TJJackson Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 regarding asking price: Prior to FA, he was/is projected to make about 3.5 to 4.5M this year He made 2.5M last year and thats to the market, not considering a team he WANTS to go to Quote
HoosierCat Posted Wednesday at 03:38 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 03:38 PM The Bengals today signed free agent LB Joe Giles-Harris to a one-year contract for the 2025 season. Originally a college free agent signee of Jacksonville in 2019, Giles-Harris (6-2, 234) was on Cincinnati's practice squad for one game late last season. He also has spent time on the practice squads and rosters of the Jaguars ('19-20 and '24), the Buffalo Bills ('21 and '22) and the New England Patriots (2023 and '24). He has played in 22 total NFL games with three starts and recorded 20 tackles and one sack on defense, as well as 10 tackles on special teams. He will be classified as a second-year player in 2025. https://www.bengals.com/news/bengals-sign-lb-joe-giles-harris-bengals-roster-update Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Wednesday at 03:40 PM Author Report Posted Wednesday at 03:40 PM I read that as well. Just think it was worth mentioning. In a handful of months, he will be gone again. Good luck young man ?? Quote
