ArmyBengal
I just enjoying thinking about the Bengals trading for any player that would represent an upgrade. All while knowing there isn't a chance in hell that any of this comes to fruition. I'll tell you what though, if they lose a couple more stupid games, they may as well see what they can get for Higgins this coming year, as opposed to a 3rd round comp in 2026. TJJackson
I read Amphars post for once If he's right, which isnt usually the case, yeah, make it our 2025 r4 pick plus lets say 10-15M in cap cash

AMPHAR
Cooper is a solid WR not a superstar. Every team he's played for has dumped via a trade. Just very odd career path. IF the Bengals offense leaves the game in the balance they could easily lose to a Cooperless Browns team. The O-line should be playing for some pride. Coming off their worse game in what has been a very improved season. They've looked like crap up in Cleveland several times. The Browns defense talks a lot of shit while they are making fools of the Bengals o-line. Myles Garrett doing that cross over dribble then getting a sack. Hopefully they can get some revenge up in Cleveland its been really bad performances lately.
ArmyBengal
Cleveland's problem isn't their defense or their o-line by any stretch. They have actually done a good job building that roster in my opinion. It's their never ending quest to find a QB worth a shit. Watson is clearly not the QB he was in Houston, minus the happy endings. While he might play well enough to win a game here and there, he has been absolute garbage this year. The Brown just won't move on because of how much they are paying him. The Bengals just haven't been able to get them off their back.

COB
The Browns keep playing Watson even though logic says sit him. Why? A theory: First, the NFL recently said it is still investigating Watson’s most recent lawsuit/payoff. The Browns are saying nothing other than we like Watson and he gives us the best chance to win, and he’s our starter. My theory is that the NFL is building a case to kick Watson out of the league. Their evidence will be the same evidence that Haslam uses to void his poison pill contract. Haslam likely knows this, so to avoid the appearance of impropriety, and to avoid claims of collusion, they sit there and act like everything is ok. This sleazy back room shit is completely consistent with Haslam’s past behavior. He orchestrated a complex scheme to defraud his truck stop customers, and recently orchestrated a scheme to fraudulently pump up his truck stops’ value to get more $$ on the sale to Berkshire Hathaway. HoosierCat
Goodberry broke down the offense and its struggles against NY. tl;dw After five weeks they’ve gotten predictable and the giants were ready for a lot of their regular tricks. So it’s up to our alleged offensive brain trust of Zac and Dan to mix things up. Also personal to OBj: you gotta work on that tell there buddy. I think the easiest answer is that they’re playing him because they’re paying him a bajillion dollars and don’t want to admit they were wrong. That said I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if they are thinking along those lines. Even if they don’t expect anything to happen, no reason to provide any kind of excuses in case something does. AMPHAR
Goodberry. After watching, I think the QB TD scramble was actually a draw play Burrow checked into. I also think he missed an opportunity late in the game to check into one again. Giants also play very good coverage and overall solid defense. The Browns O-line is an issue its a combo of age/injury. Maybe Callahan choosing to join the Titans staff is a factor too. I would figure the Browns would play the youngest QB on the team soon. Unless they realize there's no logical way to remove Watson from the roster and they are stuck with him for 2025. I would think you'd want the highest possible draft pick to select the next lucky Browns QB. Do they still do that Jersey list of Browns starting QBs? COB
I can’t watch that whole thing TJ but I assume OBJ is Orlando Brown Jr, and I also assume he’s revealing whether the play is a pass or a run with his stance or his setup. Defenses reading him somehow.
AMPHAR
Its OBJ on Run Pass Option plays. OBJ pulling to his right, prior to the snap he's looking right and Brian Burns is creeping closer inside making the backside cut off block from the TE harder or almost impossible. (One Gesicki and the other Sample). One Joe gave the ball and resulted in a loss. The other Joe pulled the ball and was completed pass down to the 2. Burns blew the one play up 4 yard loss and was close to blowing the other up but Joe got the ball out.

ArmyBengal
All I keep hearing about is Chubb's return. Color me unconcerned with a guy playing his first game in forever after an absolutely gruesome injury. I simply don't expect him to be the player he once was, sadly. That being said, he's the brightest story with that team right now, so I get it. Anything to distract from the abortion of a football organization the Browns are. TJJackson
Couldnt hurt to kick the tires on a former pro bowler at a position of need https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41847825/titans-release-safety-jamal-adams-honoring-request
TJJackson
Been hoping for this kind of info https://www.cincyjungle.com/2024/10/17/24269761/rookie-report-defensive-tackles-impress-in-new-york a penetrating DT? seriously? GIMME GIMME GIMME "For a 330-pound rookie coming off an injury, McKinnley Jackson sure looks like he is in great shape he played 21 snaps, and he was flying around for all 21 snaps. He did not record a tackle, but he was a disruptive penetrator who caused problems for the offensive line. This is very promising, particularly since Jackson’s injury was so early in camp that he has barely even practiced in the NFL. " looks like the Mutant can play him some nose tackle, even though I was and sill am counting more on Mt McKinley in this role "Rookie Kris Jenkins saw some serious action as the primary substitute on the defensive interiors. He played nearly half of all defensive snaps, making his biggest impact as the 0 technique nose tackle, lined up head up on the center. Jenkins should some juice as a pass rusher, but primarily ate up blocks in the run game. Jenkins had only a single tackle on the day, but made a much larger impact than that stat implies. " and Matt Lee finally saw the field "Matt Lee added three snaps on special teams. The rookie center has seen regular action as a member of the field goal team." Given how the Browns have owned us for years now, I dont think we should take anything lightly This is a team that -- on paper -- we should destroy, but thats been true in games in the recent past as well, and we all know how that went This game should be treated as a playoff game, imo Really, every game is a playoff game at this point. We almost assuredly need to win 8 out of 11 remaining games just to for a chance at a WC seed

BUT I can’t say how much I admire your response. Telling Haslam to MOVE THE TEAM three days before the game was genius! I didn’t think it was possible to top Watson as a distraction but boy was I wrong. great job!
