Terrance Marshall was cut, Army.........

Oh I'm WELL aware.  For as much as I have spoken about him, you knew when it hit, I was thinking about it.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure who he would replace on this roster.
While I think teaming him back up with Burrow and Chase would have a profound effect on him, I don't think it's in the cards.

Attention COB, attention COB, John Ross has been cut in Philadelphia, will be available this weekend for hedge-trimming duties.

word is, he uses his 4.25 speed to run between the bushes, which means the job gets done a lot quicker....except, well, to be honest he drops the clippers.  a lot.   And if you cant hold on to the tool of your trade, the speed is meaningless.   I am talking about the hedge clippers here, of course.

Chase: ; Lemme get him on a conf call

Burrow: ok, but make it quick as I have to get to my hair dying guy to get the blonde refreshed

Chase: dude....seriously?

(ring)   (ring)

Terrace:  hey buddy, wuzzup

Chase: come on up here, they wanna look atcha

Terrace: you guys are too deep at wide, man.  I gotta go play for a bad team like Caro.....oh wait

Chase: we getcha on the PS.  Easy Peazy

Terrace: cant make no money there man

Chase: you can get by on 300k, dude.  Plus I can getcha some extra scratch with a side hustle with this movin' company with pink trucks

Terrace: look whos talkin......your teeth alone cost 300k

Chase: yeah, you dont need no teeth like mine.  Tee is headin' out next year and we'll need a WR2

Terrace: no man, you'd be WR2, I'd be 1

Chase, uhm yeah, sure dude.  So come up here, they get a look at you on the PS for a coupla three weeks, we see how it goes.

Burrow: and I throw the passes.  You remember, those, right?  Does the number 13 and 2019 ring any bells?

Terrace: sure they do, Shady.

Chase: Joe has an electric Pickup from some closed down Lordstown company.....you can sleep in that.

Terrace: Shady has a big house in Anderson, why cant he put me up?

Chase: dang it dude, thats where TJ Jackson lives, plus Mixon almost got his ass shot off there.  He so scared, he ran off to Texas

Terrace: {shudder} say no more, man, say no more

Burrow: and I'll talk them into a signing bonus, so you can afford to make coffee and egg muffin runs with Ocho

Chase: and you mighta heard?  The Super Bowls in Nawlins this year.  You remember that too, right?

Terrace: Yeah Yeah.   Aight.  On my way.

Speaking of the trend of former Bengal o-linemen getting the axe.

La’el Collins is back on the street.

Glass eater huh Pollack ?!?!

Well, if you’re eating glass that might be your problem. I mean, I get that the Bengals’ cafeteria gets low grades but c’mon, you can always hit up Chad for a ride to Mickey D’s.

Some candidates from the cutdown who would look good on our PS

LB  Markus Bailey
knows our system, good in coverage

RB Frank Gore Jr
had a good preseason for Buffalo

WR Terrace Marshall
reunite a 13TD member of Burrows LSU team with Burrow

DT Jowon Briggs
Bring home a popular and productive bearcat. NT w/intangibles

RB Samaje Perine
Nuff said

WR Noah Brown
I think he had two hundred catches for ~8000 yards last year against us

TE Irv Smith Jr
just kidding, making sure you are reading this damned list

OL Max Scharping
Knows our system, versatile, and I like him better than Gilliam

a solid veteran NT
I dont know who this guy is, but hopefully, Bengals were looking at him weeks ago, and are working to get him in

Vigil and Malik Jefferson completely shocked they are still in the NFL.

Terrance Marshall, I would love to take a shot on him.   Do you cut one of the extra TEs?  Keeping 7 WRs is a normal venture although Gesicki is a hybrid you could argue is the 7th WR.

Perine,  sure.   I think he'd prefer to go somewhere with a path to playing more defined.  With his age he goes somewhere and sits it could be adios NFL.  Heck, might be that anyway.

Marshall is a guy I've been talking about for a couple seasons now, waiting for him to become a free agent.  I've honestly been hoping Carolina would continue sucking and him not produce because of it to make it happen.  Well, here we are.  Some would say he's a bust and he may be, but I don't think any fan can look at the situation in Carolina and think that's been a stable situation for a young player to come into.  Now, put him on a team with Burrow and Chase, who he played with in LSU and was productive and you have a instant bond that can continue to improve in a stable setting.

I think they kept so many TE's because they know they got two in the draft that will both be good pros, along with guys that have known roles in Sample and Hudson.  Add Gesicki to the mix, who I believe will be dynamic in multiple alignments and it's a recipe for success from a position group that SUCKED BALLS last year.  More than likely Gesicki is a one year and gone guy.  Hudson is a free agent after the season as well.

It's probably why I'm not working for an NFL front office, but I'm serious when I say I would try to get Hudson onto the taxi squad and bring in Marshall as the 7th WR.  If someone snatches Hudson, he was a free agent next year anyway.  I think there's more potential in what Marshall could turn into, especially considering Higgins and Irwin are free agents next year as well.

Carl Lawson would also peek interest consider injury state at DE.  They are down two Sample and Murphy.   Hubbard coming off surgery.   Based on the early days of camp, I'm not even sure how much Murphy would have played if not for Sample injury.   So maybe some depth needed.
