Stripes Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 Double up at NT and maximize your chances at competently replacing Reader. Sure. Quote
COB Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 Ok we need to get better against the run so here we are. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 I guess… Again, other players I would have preferred. Quote
HoosierCat Posted April 27 Author Report Posted April 27 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/mckinnley-jackson/124324/draft-profile I guess, fine, ok, whatever. Hopefully he pans out. Quote
AMPHAR Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 I'm going to put this one as B+. They needed youth along the D-line. Quote
GapControl Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 I don’t know much about McKinnley but for 3rd round , it makes sense Quote
ArmyBengal Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 They currently have 7 CB’s and another 4 safeties. Dax is counted as a CB in that scenarios. Move him back to safety and that’s 6 and 5. At this point in the draft, color me doubtful they draft even one that could push one of these guys off the roster. Any secondary pick would end up on the taxi squad. I say that with at least 2-3 guys I would like to add. Quote
COB Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 This dude was a two year team captain at A&M. Keeping with a common theme amongst recent draft picks. Quote
TJJackson Posted April 27 Report Posted April 27 well, we needed a NT, and we got a NT, so thats good I also like his durability and strength of character - defensive team captain and all that his RAS, is, uhm, well....... tho that is often the case with NT types They met a priority need, basically. That said, he seems like a guy that will be easy to like and a good teammate. There absolutely is value in that B- Best pick of their draft so far, imo Quote
