cincyhokie Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 I'm thinking RB if Johnson is there. Quote
HoosierCat Posted April 29, 2023 Author Report Posted April 29, 2023 I keep looking at Dawand Jones. Plug and play RT. Any way you look at it you probably need one next year. Collins signed a 3 year deal IIRC and Jonah is gone in 24 so fuk it, solve the problem and move on, Quote
cincyhokie Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Dewand Jones would be great there. I'm also thinking the Bengals like the Irv Smith, Drew Sample TE team better than any of us do. 1 Quote
Wraith Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Dawand Jones, Roshon Johnson or Tomi Adebawore. 1 Quote
cincyhokie Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Also there's the Adebewore guy from NW. Quote
cincyhokie Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Karl Brooks, DL. Another one that might fit a need. Quote

Stripes Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Traded down with Chiefs, just a few spots Quote
COB Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 I hope the chiefs don’t get their pick in on time. Quote
COB Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Too long saluting that dead soldier, make them forfeit the pick. 1 Quote
cincyhokie Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Adding picks where they can. Might be a good idea seeing they need a punter, OL depth, and you can always find a decent RB in late rounds. Â Quote
cincyhokie Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Steelers have to take Adebewore, right? Quote
cincyhokie Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Roshawn Johnson for the Bengals. That's the pick. Quote

Stripes Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Cool announcement by the Vietnam vet. Three defenders in a row. Quote
HoosierCat Posted April 29, 2023 Author Report Posted April 29, 2023 D is for draft and defense, I guess. Good player. Quote
cincyhokie Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Per CBS Sports: Summary: Jordan Battle is an intelligent, effective communicator with ample playing experience for the Crimson Tide. He has been a consistent producer for four years, showing range and coverage ability. Battle can do a better job of breaking his feet down in space to make a balanced tackle at the point of contact. His value lies with his understanding of what offenses are trying to do and his ability to communicate that during an era of football where teams are attempting to create confusion through traffic and crossing patterns. Strengths: Consistent producer with significant playing experience Good size for the position Aggressive with the ball in the air Good communicator, trash talker Weaknesses: Inconsistent breaking his feet down at the point of contact Average burst and top-end speed Play strength Combine Results: 40-Yard Dash:Â 4.55 seconds Quote
Stripes Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Clemson - Michigan - Alabama They like premier programs with postseason experience. Quote
cincyhokie Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 I guess we're seeing now where the Bengals think they can make the most difference. Pass rush and pass coverage. Also noticing the type of players they are taking. Smart, tough, good against the run. Same goes for the FA additions to the secondary. They definitely have a plan. Quote
HoosierCat Posted April 29, 2023 Author Report Posted April 29, 2023 Well, bottom line is Lou has no excuses. They’re pouring talent into his D and he’d better make it fly. Quote
Stripes Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 If someone asked me which defensive starter makes me most uncomfortable, it would have been one of the safeties (probably Scott), so adding this depth and insurance is very easy to justify. 1 Quote
