Wraith
A TE and O. Brown is my prediction, although Shaq Griffin is there too.
AMPHAR
Defensive draft second day. Somebody can post names. Ohio State DE and Texas LB
ShulaSteakhouse
Sam Hubbard, Malik Jefferson (OLB, Texas)
Wraith
Both good if unspectacular players need to address the offense.
Kazkal
Is it me or does it seem Messed up to have MJ read the name of the guy who may take your spot

Although I don't think Hubbard will amount to much more than a situational guy, Jefferson could very easily beat out one of the current OLB's, unless he gets in Marvin's strange rookie doghouse. Kazkal
Yeah but isn't MJ just a situational guy these days
TJJackson
Both r3 picks suck, though they at least picked the right position on one of them. A LB who can't shed blocks, cover, or tackle. Nice. Let's get a kicker who cant kick next. WHERE'S THE ORT?????????

TJJackson
I keep hearing Malik Jefferson called a coverage linebacker. But he isn't from: http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2018MJefferson.php "Lacks man-coverage skills....He is not a linebacker who showed man-coverage skills on tight ends or backs even though he has the athletic skill set to do that......in the NFL, Jefferson needs development for pass coverage" http://lastwordonprofootball.com/2018/03/30/malik-jefferson-2018-nfl-draft-profile/: "below average in coverage" https://www.hogshaven.com/2018/2/25/17049202/malik-jefferson-is-a-fantastic-athlete-but-will-that-be-enough-in-the-nfl : "Only average instincts; less effective in coverage than he could be" http://breakingfootball.com/2018-nfl-draft-malik-jefferson-draft-profile/: "Struggled in zone coverage. Needs to be better at recognizing the passing concept, it’s unlikely that he will make a play on the football, not a large zone, gets too attached to one route and does not transition well.....When asked to drop into coverage you see stiffness working in space." http://www.rotoworld.com/player/cfb/134284/malik-jefferson : "struggled in pass coverage"
AMPHAR
Time will tell. They struck out with that K-state LB a couple drafts ago. Hopefully this athlete can get on the field.
TJJackson
He isn't even really a linebacker. He is a very raw pure athlete with little or no instinct or passion for the game What he actually is: a person who happens to inhabit a body that is a near perfect prototype for a linebacker - size strength, arm length, speed, etc. Said another way - a project at a time when we need starters at the LB spot. as such, this was a gawdawful luxury pick
COB
Best pick ever.

Until that day comes, log out.
TJJackson
after I type this post, I officially have blocked Amphar. Ridiculous.
ArmyBengal
I just stopped giving a fuck about anyone and my life has become much easier. Couple that with stepping up the quality in my bourbon and life is just wonderful. Besides, being a fan of this team is just exercise in seeing how much time can be wasted over the course of one's life.

TJJackson
sadly, after blocking Amphar, I can still see his posts. Ah well, I tried. If only Vijay Singh were here to help.....
COB
When Malik Jefferson gets done cleaning out my gutters I’ll ask him why he can’t cover anyone when we all know he was one of the fastest guys in his underwear in an indoor facility in Indianapolis in March. Kazkal
Malik going to play safety or be a hybrid backer/safety maybe? They have him wearing
TJJackson
Maybe he's the Shawn Williams replacement. I know a certain former member of the military who would be as happy about that as I was about the departures of Jeffro and Alexander
ArmyBengal
Bates took care of that problem hopefully !!!
AMPHAR
I’m guessing the Safety pick and this pick will further erode the traditional 3 down 4-3 backer. It’s a guess because we don’t know the new D-Coordinator. Traditional Sam and Mike backers are a dying breed.
Kazkal
Well not like we really played a 4-3 the past few years no? Don't they tend spend most of the time in Nickle & Dime formations? So Hybrid that can play backer first down DB on Passing downs.
