BengalszoneBilly
It seems eight years are enough for Cincinnati. Time to go younger and faster I think.
Kazkal
Makes sense with Defense mainly playing with two backers who can cover.Good luck Rey thank you for your service in the team even though you never quite panned out
ShulaSteakhouse
Finally. He was overpaid and relatively worthless last year - always hurt, out of shape, etc..., not a bad guy and wish him well, but good to see the new direction at LB at least. I really hope they find a play-maker at LB still in the draft, They will need all the defensive help they can get with that offense next year.
ArmyBengal
Respect to First Name Rey and wish him well. That being said, it was time and good on the Bengals for making this non-Bengal type of move. Now give me Rueben Foster at #9 and color me happy !!
kingwilly
Yep, it was time. If we don't draft another USC linebacker that's fine with me. Best wishes FNR.

COB
Is there some kind of new rule that gives you comp picks for cutting your old-timers? Good luck at your next stop Rey. He'll make a roster somewhere, just hope he can stay healthy.

We had been calling for this move since before free agency and gave all the reasons why it should have been done. However, now you see them make the move without any apparent benefit. As much as I still agree with the move, I'm left to wonder if they shouldn't have kept him for depth. What's the outcome to this move at this point in time ?? For all the talk of loyalty and keeping people that know the system, I have to say the front office has only left me more confused. Remember, they paid Hall 10 million his last season ??
AMPHAR
I don't know why but I always like when MILF would show up at the stadium in Rey M. #58 jerseys. It was very Victory Secrets to me. Weird, I know. Rey never a superstar but I always thought a little bit of an underrated player. His struggles in space/coverage overshadowed his high value in run defense. His time as a Bengal has passed and hopefully the PBS MILF still shows up in #58 jerseys.
