combatbengal
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Children of all ages, Thursday night NFL football has a twist this week for all to see. Not only will you be able to witness the Dolphins take on the Bengals in Paul Brown stadium, but you will also see the return of the heart and soul of the Bengals Defense. That's right # 55 Vontaze Burfict is back!
Stripes
Hopefully he doesn't concuss or suspend himself right back to the couch.

I believe he will be playing like a man on a mission.
volcom69
I just hope he learned how to tackle better then he did when he came back last year, and knocked himself out of the first game!
TJJackson
Who's getting waived to make room on the roster? The last linebacker? The newbie QB? The newbie corner? I think it'll be the corner, just a gut feel, no evidence to back it up
Stripes
Jeff Driskel is the key to the Super Bowl.
ArmyBengal
I think they get a roster exemption for a little bit in bringing him back.
AMPHAR
They have an exemption until Thursday when they'll have to put him on the active roster in order to play. Not sure how long they have if they decide not to activate him.
kingwilly
One thing regarding Burfict returning. LNR has played really well, so they should consider some rotation of guys so Burfict can ease back. No one can know if he can handle a full game workload, plus he likely rusty a bit. But at least it's the Dolphins not a team like Pitt or Baltimore.
TJJackson
I guess SiS was right - Vontaze activated, Driskel stays (being the key the to Superbowl and all) , rookie lb and preaseason tackling machine Trevor Roach waived to make room. Roach likely back to the taxi squad on Friday

johnswahoo
Let's hope the 3 game suspension and the 500k loss in revenue causes Tigger to loose some of his bounce! The team should get a bounce out of having him on the field!
ShulaSteakhouse
And they did...holding Miami to 7 pts - all of which came on a busted deep pass play on their 1st drive, shut them down and out the rest of the game. Burfict is their Ray Lewis, he makes them a top 5-10 defense (barring missing DB's and 2 below-average Safeties). He played pretty well last night, but I suspect he'll improve with conditioning/time of course. The best thing is how calm he was, and I remember watching him catch himself yapping after a play and suddenly shut up and walk away. Another time he calmed down Williams and pulled him away from another player after a hit. All good signs. Of course the question is if he can keep it up and maintain it the rest of the season. Same with Pac Man.
GapControl
Burfict adjusting the calls pre-snap is just as important as his instinctive play after-snap.
