HoosierCat
Why do Cincinnati fans have to rely on national media types to break any news about the team? Check out this shot of our local reporters in action: Lindsay Patterson @LndsPatterson 4m4 minutes ago.@pauldehnerjr and @JimOwczarski just watching training camp. @Enquirer off in a distance. 12:25 PM - 31 Jul 2015 · Details

redsbengalsbucks
Anyone else notice a lot of plays made on Hall? I was hoping he got that out of his system last season.
volcom69
Hall was playing a lot of safety as well. I can see a lot of moving around back there this year, even playing 3 safety's at a time using Hall.
HoosierCat
Yup, they had a 4-3-4 look going with 3 CBs and 1 S, with the option of Hall taking the second safety's job.Great write up by Brennen.http://www.cincyjungle.com/2015/8/1/9083129/training-camp-journal-day-one?utm_campaign=brennenwarner&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
redsbengalsbucks
I understand that, but him getting beat like a red-headed step child is not acceptable.
HoosierCat
Still no Burfict, even just working on the side. Not a good sign. But expected.
volcom69
Hall and the DBs had a good day from what I read. Hall again playing a lot of safety. Dennard also had an int.I'm loving watching Paul Dawson play can't wait to see him preseason

Seems like they are working a lot with TEs and Hewitt in the passing game.Geno showing bursts of old Geno which would be huge.

ShulaSteakhouse
Michael Johnson carted-off field with knee injury (per NFL Network)
volcom69
So MJ carted off the field today. Not sure how bad it is, but doesn't sound great either. Hopefully it's not as bad as it could have been. The DL took a hit if he is injured for long.
BengalszoneBilly
Geeze...It happens every year to someone.
COB
Unbelievable. It's not overstating it to say that MJ was the centerpiece of their off-season. He was the most significant piece added to last year's team, as far as playing this year and having an impact on 2015 goes. Hopefully just a sprain or something. ShulaSteakhouse
Per Baghdad Hob MJ was able to put weight on it and walk some, which really means nothing, but notes that even a sprain means 3-4 weeks. Going in for MRI. And yes, every year there will be at least one "major" injury in camp, happens every year to every team, you can count on it happening to a starter or star player of some sort. But it does suck, if this is it, that it happens to their most significant FA and at a position that's already hurting for depth with Hunt out indefinitely still. volcom69
Jamie Dukes on NFL network says McCaron will be starting over Dalton by the end of the year.......um yea ok Jamie! I hate listening to some of these so called experts! Even if Dalton is not the guy, AJ is far from it either.
