princeton Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 well, let's draft two more offensive tackles in round 3 Quote
volcom69 Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 I'm worried about defense this year, they sucked last year, I just hope they can bounce backSo what's next defense, and WR next round Quote
kingwilly Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 I've just come home from a darts tournament (a drunken champ) - have the Bengals taken Fisher as the 2nd round pick ???Yes, welcome to groundhog day. A very long inane, bizarre groundhog day. Quote
Kazkal Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 well, let's draft two more offensive tackles in round 3I'm gonna go with two defensive tackles a spot where a rookie isn't expected to start but we do need a future replacement Quote
Scottishbengal Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 No DT to pressure PekoNo WR to help AJNo TE to help Eifert/Offence ...or does it mean Greshams back?No safety helpNo CB to take pressure off 2016 contractsbut we got 2 o-line .... one of whom is a basket case for this season?????????????is Paul A sucking Marvin off or what ?We could have had Malcolm brown and Fisher at this point Quote
UK Bengal Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 Gregory is still there so is Bennett and of course Collins our next pick for the triple threat OT match Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 I think the real problem was the 1st round pick. Could've had an impact LB or DE for the rotation. I like Fisher, and frankly Alexander needs day one OL talent if they're going to be any good here. As far as I'm concerned, Whit is overrated and declining, and Smith is a big ? mark this upcoming season (so it's likely Fisher potentially sees a lot of PT this season). It's too bad they spent 2 day one picks on one position though. They lack depth at OL, LB, S and DT talent though, so they should've been more aggressive in FA if they were going to pull this in the draft. Quote

Not because he's awful, it's that he's just a guy in a position that should be anchoring this team's greatest strength. Quote
volcom69 Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 Marvin says no more o-line they have done enough there lol Quote
Scottishbengal Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 I don't understand the hate for Peko I don't have any "hate" for Peko but it's glaringly obvious that his performance level has dropped significantly. He's getting old !We've had opportunities to addresses areas where the team can, and needs to, improve this year and we have not done that. I'm pissed about that.Perhaps the most significant move in the first two rounds is that Marvin is having enough rope to hang himself. Quote
HoosierCat Posted May 2, 2015 Author Report Posted May 2, 2015 Well, on to round three! I say we keep the focus on the line and draft a blocking TE! Quote
cincyhokie Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 I'm kind of shocked to see the Browns with so many day 1 and 2 picks. Then on top of it, to draft so well and focused. They are by far the best drafting team in the AFCN thus far. Quote
HoosierCat Posted May 2, 2015 Author Report Posted May 2, 2015 Agreed, Browns having a good draft. Quote
Wraith Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 But alot less than there was. I am totally confused by their "strategy". Quote
cincyhokie Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 Agreed, Browns having a good draft. The Browns are stocking talent. The Bengals are finding replacements to maintain. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 I'm betting defense or WR. It would be nice to get a starting-caliber LB. I don't know that they have a more glaring need than that. Quote
cincyhokie Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 Do something that improves the damn team, please. Quote
