IF the game sells out, I will be DVR'ing it and getting things done for Christmas.

There's simply too much to get done. I will do my best to not hear the score and watch it later.

On a side note, I don't usually post during the games, but I did during the Steelers game.

I bear some responsibility from a superstition standpoint.

That being said, I finally moved into the world of technology and got an Iphone. I know some don't care for them much, but I love the thing. Better yet, being able to use the voice button to makes posts here. No typing involved and just letting the emotion take over. Wonderful.

Now I have to find an easier way to wash my clothes. The pail and wash board are rough on the hands.

I heard about this thing called a "washing maching". I might give that a go.

If not, there's always the stream with plenty of rocks.

I've got an app in my iPhone that washes my clothes. f**king get with it. Also, your posting during the game had nothing to do with it. I wore my unlucky Bengals sweatshirt that morning. Meant to take it off but forgot until my son ran upstairs yelling, "the Steelers are up 21 to nothing in the first quarter!" Immediately took it off but as we all know it was already too late. Watched the dvr'd game later and almost started cutting myself over "Unlucky Sweatshirt Gate." Tomlin's face makes me sick, I hope he falls off a bridge.

See, that shows you how much I know. I capitalized the "I" instead of the "P" in iPhone.

I saw that app for washing clothes, but it kept spitting my underwear back out.

Seriously, I NEVER post during games, but I guess the irritation led to the inevitable and I broke out the phone.

I also no longer wear my Bengals sweatshirt on game days. Each time i've done that this year, they lost.

Anyway, I just want to see the Bengals win this Sunday. I don't even care how ugly it is. Just f*cking win.

Jezus fking Kayrist. Hobs: Whitworth got concussion in Wednesday practice. Which was why he was out today along with Dunlap (concussion) and Harrison (concussion).

This. Team. Is. Snake. Bit.

There's about a zero percent chance Whit doesn't play. Harrison and Dunlap are a little more iffy but I say they play too.

As I understand things, Whit wont be allowed to play by league rules if he doesn't pass the protocol

Doesnt matter what he wants or is willing to do

Yeah that makes sense. You have to wonder the severity of the concussion, though. It was practice. Did someone run over him in the parking lot? How bad can he be concussed?

Still down now too. Hobs:

Left guard Andrew Whitworth didn't work Thursday after getting a concussion in Wednesday's workout and joined Dunlap and Harrison on the side. Another D-lineman also surfaced on Thursday's injury report when tackle Devon Still (back) didn't practice. For the second straight day, right guard Kevin Zeitler (foot) was limited. Cornerback Terence Newman (knee) looks to be out again this Sunday.

The availability of the players with concussion hinges on tests delivered by an independent neurologist according to NFL protocol.

This is why we see the coaches on hard knocks agonizing over the depth guys and cuts at the end of camp. Those guys end up playing significant minutes at the end of the year. I'm headed down to Cincinnati to make a citizens arrest on Orson Charles for theft by fraud for collecting an NFL paycheck. Also, would like some sort of explanation as to why Hue has such a love affair with this kid. Did he coach him somewhere else? Friends with Charles' dad? What is up here.

This is the situation the Bengals haven't been in since the dismal 2010 4-12 season. They are in a position to control their own destiny. They win the next 2, they make the playoffs and win the division, REGARDLESS what the other teams do! They don't have to wait until other games are over to see if they made the playoffs or not. They win, they're in.

This is the hurdle they haven't seem to have been able to jump over since Boomer and the boys.

From the article below from the website, it appears they will be as prepared as possible, know what's at stake and hungry for victory! Time will tell.

I will say that I thought Charles had a future at the TE spot. I mean that was his position at Georgia and where they wanted him to play when drafted.

I saw this move mostly as a way to provide depth at the TE spot "IF" there were an injury and he could provide time at the FB spot.

Again, I think that was being too cute.

They could have still kept the depth of Charles at the TE spot AND Connor to man the FB position.

All it would have cost them was Ryan freakin' Whalen.

They already had Sanzenbacher and drafted Cobi Hamilton.

Could Hamilton be that big of a drop off ??

They made a mistake plain and simple.

They are 9-5 and i'm happy for that, but you can't justify Whalen over Connor.

My guess is that it all started with Eifert. I don't think they expected him to be there, and when they ended up adding another first-round TE that put Charles on the bubble. BUT I also don't think they are sold on Gresham long-term. So they wanted a way to keep Charles around in case Jermaine keeps, well, doing what he keeps doing. And so this H-back attempt.

That aside, I agree, Ryan Whalen has the NFL's easiest job. I wish I could get paid $555,000 (yes, that's his salary!) to sit on my azz once a week.

I agree. Eifert being there put them in a great spot. It's what they've done to manage the roster after that has me scratching my head. Keeping Charles, Sanzenbacher AND Whalen? For what? Practice? Perhaps.

Given the injuries to the DBs, have to also wonder if Crocker is really the best scenario. A year older...slower... Couldn't have brought along another CB, just in case? This roster, with the talent here, is not that hard to manage. There are like 7 guys that are the hard decisions. baffling...

Maybe one of the best, I mean the best, roster signings they've ever made is the addition of Gilberry. They nailed that one.
