just a few statistics to whet your appetite for the game :-

Buffalo 2-1 at home ..... Cincy 0-2 on the road

advantage Buffalo

Buffalo 1-3 vs AFC opponents ...... Cincy 3-1 vs AFC opponents

advantage Cincy

Buffalo's QB Thad Lewis has 1 previous NFL start

Cincy historically make back-up, rookie, inexperienced QB's look like Steve Young

historical advantage to Buffalo

Offensive Yards gained per game is pretty even. Buffalo get more rushing yardage than Cincy, and Cincy get more passing yardage than Buffalo.

with a "new" QB starting I see the Bills running the ball a great deal with Spiller and Jackson sharing the carries

Yardage allowed per game - Buffalo averages 377 against themselves, Cincy averages 317

Buffalo average 152 rushing yards per game, Cincy allow 95, and Cincy rush 99 yards per game as Buffalo allow 116

Buffalo average 196 pass yards per game, Cincy give up 221. Cincy gain 230 pass yards per game as Buffalo allow 261.

as above - I see Buffalo running the ball today to protect Thad Lewis.

If Cincy takes the lead then they'll run the ball too but if they're chasing the game then Dalton will fancy his chances against a team that can be thrown against.

Points scored per game - Buffalo averages 22, Cincy averages 19

Points allowed per game - Buffalo averages 26, Cincy averages 17

Third down coversions - Buffalo allows 40% Cincy converts 41%, conversely Cincy allows 33% and Buffalo convert 30%

Big advantage to Cincy in keeping drives alive and eating the clock

Turnover ratio - Buffalo +3, Cincy -2

Big advantage to Buffalo

My prediction for the score today .....Bills 20-24 Bengals

Bengals offense finally has a good game (they're due) but Thad "Peyton Manning" Lewis has a career day. Bengals win 41-38 in OT.

That's what worries me, a QB that the bengals have not seen. For some reason they always do great things. This is also what bugs me about this team, one game they look great, they next they look average.

It's time for this team to play a complete game. Where the offense puts up points, and the defense holds the other team. For som reason when this teams offense is on the defense sucks, when the defense is dominant the offense blows. Time for this crap to stop, time to be a complete team.

I'm honestly not worried about the whole "unknown QB slaughters Bengals" thing. We've definitely lost to some goofballs (Gradkowski twice is just shameful), but in those games it was usually the offense that failed to do its job.

If we lose to Thad Lewis I would expect it to be because the offense s**ts the bed again -- like 17-13 or something.
