Sea Ray
Did any trades happen today? Isn't today the trade deadline?
HoosierCat
Yah, I believe so. 4 p.m. today was the deadline. There was some talk about Jared Allen to Seattle but it didn't happen. The Eagles traded Isaac Sopoaga and a sixth-round pick to the Patriots for a fifth-round pick, but that's about it.

HoosierCat
Not that anyone cares, but Aaron "Picasso" Maybin is now a Toronto Argonaut. In possibly more relevant news, the Ravens cut Michael Huff today. Given the state of our secondary he would be an interesting pickup, but everyone, even vets, has to pass through waivers now that we are past the trade deadline. So even if the Bengals put in a claim I would be surprised if he fell to them.

But who knows...maybe another reclamation project for Zim.

I don't like it.Fragel was a project at the RT spot, but a project I really liked them taking part in.I think Fragel has a future in the league, even if only as a backup. volcom69
They said bengals have the best depth, well one of the teams. I guess will see what happens.Kerry Rhoads is still out there as well, somebody who could back up or start if needed. Hopefully they do get another safety in here, but who knows. Did they sign anybody for Halls spot yet?

essexjohnson
We had depth. The D is officially thin now. Scary how much things can change in 2 weeks in the NFL. Actually in one play. Young guys need to step up big time.

TJJackson
With us down a safety and the Ravens the next team up (after tomorrow night) Huff would be the perfect pickup
ArmyBengal
In the way the coaches talk and from what we've seen, I would expect Shawn Williams playing time to increase dramatically. The team believes there is no plug in play type of player to bring in off the street or so they've said. With that thought, Williams would be the logical choice.
