membengal Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 @RavensInsider: Ray Rice on Vontaze Burfict: 'I told him he'd be a great player if he didn't talk so much.' A. Coming from a teammate of the murderer, who never f**king shuts up, that's rich.B. Coming from a Raven, whose whole f**king team is full of a**h***s who won't shut up, that's further rich. f**k you, Ray Rice. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 So mem, tell us, how do you really feel? (And yeah Rice can eat a bag of dicks.) Quote

volcom69 Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 Bobbie Williams said Burfict kicked him so guess Burfict was a dirty player today lol lol. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 Honestly, I don't really give a sh*t what anyone has to say about Burfict. There wasn't a single game someone from the opposing team didn't try to get him all riled up and commit a stupid penalty and it didn't happen. If any has an issue with him, it's that he was all up their grill all game long and let them know about it.For that attitude, I will simply say thank you. It's been a long time since we had a player like that on the defense. If the talk is about being dirty, that players name is Suh. HoosierCat Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 Cry mem a river. Bengals' Vontaze Burfict gets under Ravens' skin, leading to personal fouls on Ray Rice, Bobbie WilliamsCincinnati Bengals rookie middle linebacker annoys Ray Rice, Bobbie WilliamsBy Aaron WilsonThe Baltimore Sun9:02 p.m. EST, December 30, 2012CINCINNATI --—Cincinnati Bengals rookie middle linebacker Vontaze Burfict displayed a knack for annoying the Ravens' offensive players, getting under their skin at least twice Sunday.During a 23-17 loss for the AFC North champion Ravens, the brash former undrafted free agent gotinto a pair of altercations with offensive guard Bobbie Williams and running back Ray Rice. In each incident, the retaliating Raven was assessed with a personal foul.First, Rice roughly shoved Burfict to the ground in the first quarter following a chop block for an unnecessary roughness infraction. Rice said that Burfict was talking a lot of trash to him."I told him he'll be a great player if he didn't talk so much," Rice said. "I got a personal foul messing withhim. I don't know if it was that personal. I cut him and went back and I finished him off. He's going to be a good player. He's feisty, that's what I told him. You see a young guy like that and talent will only take you so far."Burfict, who went undrafted out of Arizona State due to conditioning, maturity and off-field issues and a disastrous NFL scouting combine and has now become the Bengals' leading tackler and had a game-high 18 tackles Sunday, gloated about what happened afterward."He chopped me," Burfict said of Rice. "I don't know what he tried to do, but he tried to take a cheap shot. That's football. At the end of the day, he got a personal foul and I didn't. Big man wins. The old Vontaze would have did exactly what he did, talked a little [stuff] and then walked off."Williams responded to Burfict in the second quarter, reacting angrily to draw an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Williams said that Burfict kicked him, causing him to lose his temper."He's just a young pup out there," Williams said. "Hey, it's football. He gave me a kick, it is what it is." :crybaby: Quote

Although he plays a different position, he reminds me alot of Fulcher. He lays the wood and this team has needed that for years. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 He gloated about what happened afterward ??Really ?? He got chop blocked and then hit again when down with Rice leading with his helmet. No one sees the problem there ?? Could it be because it's their beloved Ray Rice and an UDFA got in his head ??Thin skin bitches !!!Bobbie Williams got mad ??Oh no, anything but that.F*CK BOTH OF THEM !!! Quote

COB Posted January 2, 2013 Report Posted January 2, 2013 Did a reporter write this story with a straight face? Ray Rice cut blocks Burfict, then follows that up with a personal foul shove on the ground. The gist of the report? "Vontaze Burfict isn't a good guy". WTF? Quote
membengal Posted January 3, 2013 Author Report Posted January 3, 2013 Welcome to Baltimore media. Its hell over here. Quote
HoosierCat Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 I can't imagine the media knob-gobbling that must be going on there over the impending retirement of Ray "The Most Super Awesomest Linebacker Ever They Should Just Close Down The NFL Now Because Without Him The Game Is Meaningless" Lewis... Stripes Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 At least he joined the network that wasn't at all worth watching before he came along anyways. Quote
COB Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 What happened to all that stuff he said at his press conference, ie, My kids have sacrificed so much so I could play the game I love, now it's my turn to sacrifice for them? I guess the clause in his contract that allows him to go to his son's college football games (and be shown on camera about 7 times per game) is what he was talking about. Yes, attending your alma mater's football games to watch your son, all the while being the center of attention, that's quite a sacrifice. You're always thinking of others, Ray Lewis! Quote
COB Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 I'm starting to wish we had the Ravens this week. That team has to be so distracted by this Ray Lewis circus that they're bound to play an unfocused, weak, game. Quote
