Don't care how they won it, just glad they won it.

Meaningful football one more week. Need offensive line to be a LOT better next week. Hopefully some of that was short week. They need a rest. Three days off should help.

That was just a stupid football game. Play better next week.

Yep. I've NEVER seen a team like Philly just toss you the ball time after time and basically say here, you can have it. Don't think for a second that Pittsburgh or Baltimore will do us the same favors.

This game was a gift and nothing more.

Yup. If I'm Jeff Lurie I'm coming down to the locker room with a couple jerry cans of gasoline and just torching the place.

I don't frequent any Eagles forums, but I'm sure they're not a fun place to hang out right about now. Foles wasn't actually that bad, but the rest of his team made up for that.

I took a pass at the official eagles forums and they are remarkably calm, like volcom suggests, in a "this was the game we were waiting for" way. To give you a taste, my favorite post so far:

YES!!!

YES!!!

YES!!!

TOTAL ANNIHILATION!!!

Bring Fatso back now, Jeff, I dare you.

REID IS USELESS FAT!

Hail the Bengals!!!!!!!

Alright so home from the game, ugliest win I think I have seen!

Dalton is freakin in consistant and his pocket presence was awful. He had open guys but didnt even see them, he double pumped in the redzone where he had a guy open, just throw the ball! He holds the ball way to long, and his happy feet are really bad. Now ill admit the O-line was horrible, they looked tired! I wonder if playing Thursday took a toll on them and they played tired.

Defense played good, but I was surprised the pass rush wasn't as good. Turnovers were awesome, nice big hits as well!

We got very lucky last night. We let another pretty bad team hang around by poor playcallling and stupid penalties( i'm think there may be a re-occuring theme here....). Luckily for us, Philly is so bad, they did everything they could to give us the win! The DT on the missed kick off catch was priceless, one of the funniest things i've seen for ages :lmao: Good call from simmons, and good to see someone being prepared to do something a bit gutsy. Major, major work to be done before the trip to pittsburgh, but at least we're still in with a shout. And its fair to say we owe them ;) Lets hope the offence remembers how to play in time.....

Absolutely we need to play better but this was a game the Bengals traditionally lose, on the road, against a team they are better than, with everything to play for, on national TV. Yes the offense stunk but through all of that we need to step back and give mad props to the defense who played spectacular. There was good pressure on Foles even though it didn't show up in the stat sheet and the secondary played lights out, remember the last two weeks this Eagles Offense put up some pretty good numbers against not bad competition and they were completely shut down tonight, one big play and one touchdown that was it....Did they ever cross the fifty, besides the one drive in the second, when we didn't give them the ball on our 20 or 30? If so I don't remember it, and lets not forget that even though the Eagles were careless with the ball someone has to force it....I think there is work to be done before next week but lets not jump off the cliff regarding a 21 point win (could have been more) on the road in December on National TV.

Beat Pittsburgh and Baltimore, that is what this season comes down to...isn't that what we said at the beginning of the year as well. Pittsburgh is not a juggernaut (lost to San Diego at home) and Baltimore just fired their O-Coordinator, time to pick up your big boy pants and play like there is no tomorrow because there isn't.

I was really looking forward to watching this game and I went to bed with mixed feeling.

The o-line looked like hell, but i'm left wondering how tired they were after just playing Sunday?

They still did well with their run blocking, so there's that.

Gresham was disappointing and had a couple more drops.

Everyone is downing Dalton and "HIS" two fumbles last night, but there's little talk about him getting sacked (see BLASTED) 6 freaking times. Both fumbles came without him seeing the guy who hit him. His pocket presence sucks ?? To that I say, what pocket ?? The o-line couldn't pass block for anything last night and almost all looked poor at one time or another.

While I won't give him a pass entirely, some bad decisions, under/over thrown balls. I also won't place the majority of suck we saw last night on him. I would place the "majority" on the o-line.

The defense was tough again. Even with the two fumbles, giving the ball to the Eagles on the Bengals side of the field, they held them to FG's. When it mattered most down the stretch, the defense was very good.

Tate SUCKS BALLS !!! They should have just ran a single WR formation with Green and then throw in a bunch of blockers for Dalton. The lack of a #2 WR in the game last night was pathetic.

I'm glad they have some time to rest. They will need it.

I'm just happy we are talking about heading into week #16 with the playoffs still being a possibility.

Many people here thought this was going to be a losing season and while they might lose the last two, they have their chance to do what they haven't been able to in beating the Steelers and Ravens.

An effort from the offense like last night and they are in real trouble.

After watching the game last night I think the Steelers are just going to take Green out of the game and make someone else step up. I can't say that's a bad decision on their part. Maybe Gruden and company can come up with a plan for that.

Time to get some rest and then put up or shut up.

Yup, see the other thread I started, on that point.

It's a great win. I actually fell asleep (Thanks cough medicine) but the fact that they played horribly and won by 3 tds is a great sign. It was a road trip on a short week after a deflating loss, and they won. That 4 game losing stretch had me looking at the draft. The team came back, and has a chance to make a huge leap. IF they win the next 2 they could win the division. Baltimore will ose to Denver, and very easily could lose to the Giants. I believe 100% that if they play the Reeling Ravens for the division title at home, the Bengals will win. Especially when thinking of that opening Monday night opener spanking. Will we beat Pitt? 50/50

It's just becoming more glaring with each game. With Sanu gone they are right back where they began the year and, if anything, the remaining candidates for the No. 2 post are regressing.

Andy and Gresham just have no rhythm whatsoever; when Dalton isn't overthrowing him, Jermaine is dropping or fumbling the ball.

Hawkins is a natural for screens, shovel passes, end-arounds, etc., anything that can get him the ball in space and let him use his speed and quicks. So naturally Gruden sends him downfield where he is as visible and effective as a smurf.

Tate is garbage and looks like he doesn't even care any more. He knows his time is almost up and he's packed up, checked out and is just killing time in the lobby waiting for the airport van.

Armon Binns is in Miami and I'm not sure, is Ryan Whalen still alive? Finally there's Marvin Jones, who has all the potential in the world but is just too raw. He spent the first half of the year buried on the depth chart and practicing with the scrubs, then got hurt as soon as he got into a real game. He hasn't had anywhere near the time and reps he needs.

Not surprisingly, I don't think Andy trusts any of these guys, which is why he's hesitant to throw the ball. That's not meant as an excuse, Dalton has not been on his game lately either (and yes the o-line shoulders a lot of blame for that too) but he's just back to one weapon, AJ Green. Until someone else steps up this offense is going to keep struggling.
