membengal
...underestimate this offense. By, a lot.Stunning to see them running the west coast at this level, and with this much creativity. And, awesome.
volcom69
Love the creativity from Gruden as well. Would love to see more screens, they struggle to run so maybe more screens would help with that.If the defense can get continue to improve from last game, and they can find a running game I could see them pushing for a playoff spot at the end of the year. To bad Bernard Scott has not panned out, would be awesome to have a back with great speed.
Stripes
Me too, mem.I expected the receiving corps to be basically worthless outside Green, Hawkins, and Gresham. Completely wrong.I expected Green-Ellis to be one of the least productive starting backs in the AFC. Unsubstantiated, but probably completely wrong. Scottishbengal
I've been a little underwhelmed by Law Firm, can't see he has been an improvement over Benson but it's still early days. He's only averaging 3.5yds per carry and this has got to increase although he is on target for 1000 yd season (just).Must admit I love watching this offence - plenty of variety, spills n thrills, and points on the board. ArmyBengal
Green Ellis has fumbled the ball twice and while that is concerning coming from someone that never fumbled in his career, expectations that would simply continue without question is silly at best. While some could argue he hasn't been much better than Benson, he also is running behind a 2nd year guy in Boling, Faine coming as a last minute add, and a rookie on the interior of the o-line.All things considered, I can't really complain all that much about him. I think an area that hurts them is they either have nothing behind him or aren't utilizing what they have. BGJE has had times where he has been very good in games and then had issues.Overall, i'm not worried about him and what he brings each week. Having the passing game working the way it is makes that more tolerable. Now imagine what this offense would look like with a change of pace back with the quicks of Hawkins. Both are very dangerous with the ball. I still would like to see more RB routes, with BJGE, Leonard, Scott, Peerman and even Hawkins getting some more short passes to try and break some big plays from. ArmyBengal
I'm MORE than fine with how they are using Hawkins.I was referring more to them having a an actual RB with those abilities. As opposed to how this RB corps currently looks like.It was one of the reasons I was wanting Rainey out of Florida in the draft.Such is life. There's always next years draft huh ??Our positions of need are filling up quick. What with the need for LB's, CB's, safeties and all... BengalszoneBilly
Our positions of need are filling up quick. As are with many teams, but at least ours isn't at QB. Count your blessing no matter how small they are.

membengal
For the record, love dalton, always have. Just figured on a big step back from the D that the offense couldnt cover. Thats where i was wrong. Happily so far. Predicted 6-10. Hope i missed by about four games.
