derekshank
Is there much turnover on their defensive roster.I know Von Miller will help with their pass rush... but they gave up over 150 yards/game rushing (ranked 31st in the NFL). HoosierCat
Donks cant run worth a crap on the first drive but Orton was hitting his backs in stride for nice gains. Raiders turn with the ball so now we see the Denver d.Aaaaand...Miller delivers a perfect helmet-to-the-ball hit to force a fumble on the Raiders' first play. Denver ball. volcom69
I really think the bengals could struggle in this game, at least the offense might!Denvers defense is good, they have some really good pass rushers, so the bengals o-line better be ready for this game! They o-line better do what Marvin said in his press confrence today, get your pad level low, because the bengals need to run the ball big time this week! HoosierCat
Denver can't punch it in from the 15, settles for a FG. 3rd down pass from Orton was a terrible dirt ball.
volcom69
Denver using a rookie RT, so hope the DL can take advantage of thatNo disapline for the Raiders, new head coach still the same problem. Im hoping that the Bengals can continue to not hurt themselves with stupid penalties, or stupid turnovers. Marvin did a good job this week, now he needs to keep pounding it in there heads what mistake free football can bring!Looks like you can run on Denver, so hope they get there running game going early and often

BengalszoneBilly
Von Miller looks to be a beast. He will have to be accounted for next Sunday.
HoosierCat
Broncos have no discipline. Some dumbass teamer just shot down a good return by getting a personal foul after the play was over.

ShulaSteakhouse
Wow, this game makes the Bengals/Browns game look good...more so the pathetic Browns' effort of course. The Broncos are baaad, Bengals' haven't won out there in a ridiculously long time.Eh, Bengals' offense needs to play better next week more than anything. Bengals' QB's sacked 5 times, no first downs for 2 quarters, the fluke "caught 'em sleeping" plays aren't going to happen again. The pass protection abilities of this line are still very suspect (Lapham agrees w/me at least). That's what you get when you employ Alexander fatties and don't coach them up. Look at Brady's line tonight - bunch of nimble guys and no-names who know how to move their feet and direct defenders...517 passing yards.Any ways, this is a game they are capable of winning if they are up for it - and Dunlap/Whit is healthy, if those two are out, not so sure they win again any time soon.Keepin' it real...2-0 would be pretty amazing for this team, as we know, Lewis' teams always seem to do better when they're underdogs...and that's likely due to the make up of the team's characters (cast-offs and high ceiling draft picks who fell to them). HoosierCat
Denver gets a big play on teams, punt return for a TD.Is it just me or has kick coverage generally sucked league wide this week?Edit: yep, they just said there were 8 kick/punt returns in week 1 (so far), an NFL record. skyline
Holy Crap! The Raiders kicker has one hell of a leg! They showed him making a 70 yard field goal during the pre-game warmup.Overall, the Broncos are beatable. The Bengals will have to play a full game rather than just 2 quarters, but I'm not going into the game without hope.
HoosierCat
Broncos took a beating last night.Four key Broncos starters need MRIs Tuesday according to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post. Defensive end Elvis Dumervil (shoulder), cornerback Champ Bailey (hamstring), Brandon Lloyd (groin), and Knowshon Moreno (hamstring) all suffered injuries.Bailey and Moreno never re-entered the game after their injuries. Dumervil was able to play passing downs, while Lloyd was spotty in the fourth quarter.
COB
Dumervil only wants to play passing downs anyway. I didn't get to see either the Bengals or the Broncos games, but hopefully whoever is left on our team after that stupid loss in the season opener a couple years ago will remember and go for some payback. Absolutely no respect whatsoever.I saw one power ranking thy the Bengals made it all the way to 29th (by far the lowest ranked 1-0 team). Who took over at dead last? The Browns. So disrespectful it's hilarious.
derekshank
So... the Broncos defense allowed 190 rushing yards last night (ranking 31st in the NFL). Their offense rushed for 38 yards (ranking 32nd in the NFL).The Broncos have a decent pass rush, and Orton usually gets a lot of passing yards... but those rushing stats indicate the Bengals will be able to play the kind of game they want to play.I can't believe I'm saying this... but I think the Bengals start the season 2-0.
