Shipley 36 yard punt return. :sure:

We have three awesome punt returners. It's a shame that probably only one of them will be doing the job in the regular season.

Well i say all 3 of them can do it, why only 1 :)

Quan better make this team i like him as well

I think Quan is a goner. Jerome Simpsons looks GREAT for one, and Scott is a better KO returner (if they go that way again).

I think Matt Jones is a goner, so i think Quan and Simpson make it, but you never know

Yeah probably right - I'm just questioning how they're using Quan tonight, they know what he can do, but aren't using him as a WR - which is where he still needs more reps/looks I would think. I'm probably underestimating how much they like him as a returner. Odd to keep a guy who does nothing but return kicks I guess, ecspecially when you have Pac Man/Shipley/Scott who can do that just as well, if not better.

I'm not even sure he'll return kicks if he makes the team. He could just offer depth at receiver as a hybrid type, capable of stretching the field and playing the possession role without being very exceptional at either. Besides returning punts, his best contribution will probably come in the kick return game as the lead blocker in the wedge. He handles that duty amazingly well for someone his size, and that's not limited to Scott's TD against Pittsburgh last year.
