DC_Bengals_Fan
You gotta be kidding me. He's been rehabbing that damn foot for what, 9 months? Most people with boobs like his can make a baby in that amount of time, he can't even heal a foot.

I'm out of the loop, I thought he had it taken care of in Sep. Let me guess - the Bengals (on) crack medical staff gave it four months to not heal on its own before doing the surgery? That would be mega frustrating.

Kazkal
>http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&filter_teams=CIN&id=5099Andre Smith-T- Bengals Jun. 1 - 11:02 am et Bengals RT Andre Smith has yet to be medically cleared from his surgically repaired foot. The Cincinnati Enquirer's report doesn't indicate whether this is a major concern. Smith, the No. 6 overall pick in last year's draft, has already undergone two foot surgeries as a pro. His role for 2010 is uncertain.Andre Smith-T - Bengals Mar. 31 - 9:47 am et Bengals OL Andre Smith (foot) expects to be on the field for the first snap of on-field sessions in May.Smith has a pin in the troublesome right foot that helped ruin his rookie season. Of course, weight is a big issue for Smith and he says he's comfortable with where he's at right now. We'll see what the No. 6 overall pick in last year's draft looks like when he gets on the field.Andre Smith-T - Bengals Feb. 14 - 2:35 pm et Bengals OL Andre Smith underwent foot surgery last week. His recovery period is 10 weeks, meaning he should be 100% for OTAs. The foot injuries have become chronic, however, and Smith wasn't a contributor in his rookie year. The No. 6 overall pick's role for 2010 is unclearSo it was back in Feb he got it done was supposed be ready in may seems bit delayed. BengalPimp
I hope he will be available for mini-camp, but if not, he should be ready when training camp begins (end of July)....I hope.

bwillycuse
He seems to be somewhat on pace. A lilttle behind I guess. I wouldnt expect him to be pushed at this point until he is 100%. As long as he is in shape and ready to go when cleared.

gregstephens
I seem to recall back in the fall invoking the ire of mem when I stated this guy was a bust in the making. I stated then that I hoped I was wrong, I still state the same. However, as someone pointed out, fat guys and stress fractures don't mix. 'Well he won't have stress fractures if he loses weight.' 'Well he can't lose weight if he can't exercise due to the stress fractures.'

ArmyBengal
Yeah, the stress fracture isn't helping this at all. If not for that, I still think he will be dominant for the o-line.I'll give it more time before the "B" word is used in his regard...
