This isn't so bad, I think. We've enough depth at OLB to deal with this.

Just gimme Crocker and Peko back, please. The run defense looks like poo lately.

Rashad Jeanty Well he's not a Impact guy hes not make alot of mistakes type of guy and with Crocker & Peko back I won't be so worried.

I agree B. Johnson has been the linebacker this season, and it really sucks that Rey is down, but they do have good depth.

I cant wait for Peko and Crocker to get back, the defense has not been the same without them. The run defense has not been as good and has been getting gashed as of late.

This defense had an idnetity as a physical unit when we brought in guys like Roy Williams and Rey Maualuga to go with Crocker. Now all 3 guys are out and we haven't been nearly as physical or as hard hitting.

The play he was hurt on was similar to the one that saw Tony Williams have his ankle smashed. A zone-blocking guard cracking back on a chop block.

I thought it was his knee at first.

It was a dirty play.

Sucks losing Rey, really sucks, but we do have enough depth at LB, and yes Brandon Johnson has been very good this year (last year too, actually, whenever he plays). I think we can overcome that, because its been shown all season long, starting with the loss of Odom....This defense plays as a team, and there is no one player who is irreplaceable....Not Odom, not Roy Williams, Peko, Maualuga, Crocker....the only ones I would argue, would be our CB's (Hall and Joseph), but even them......Thank Zimmer for that. They play as a team, and help each other. Also give Marvin credit for the depth he has assembled.

Ironic in that before the game he was talking about how pumped he was to play in the playoffs this year his rookie season. Guess that's not happening.

Kind of ironic, two consecutive USC linebackers get in our starting lineup as rookies, both end up on IR with season-ending injuries that came as the result of dirty plays. f**king bulls**t.

B Johnson i think is the best all around linebacker on this team! With that said Dahni Jones yesterday was playing out of his mind, he had a great game. Still sad to see Rey go down though.

Well let me say since we have a Bjohnson love fest going on resign the guy! Biggest priority IMO of our own FA's (since most other key players would only be RFA's)

PS,Looks like Rey may not get IR'd encase they feel he can make it back for the Conf or superbowl.
