cincyhokie Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 That was great! Better than any highlight on TV. To see that from the fans perspective is priceless. Quote
skyline Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Beautiful. So beautiful.*tear* Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Comments on the video at WDR are worth a chuckle.I thought the whole premise of this blog was that all of these people are the problem.Yeah, well, there is that... Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Could you imagine the pandemonium that would follow a Cincinnati Super Bowl win? Quote
Sea Ray Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 The view from the cheap seats...I can't imagine trying to watch a whole game from up there but I guess it is fun when they win Quote
vettespd20 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 sweet video thanks for sharing!!! Quote
bwillycuse Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 The view from the cheap seats...I can't imagine trying to watch a whole game from up there but I guess it is fun when they winI saw myself there...You know what - those seats are AWESOME!!!! - For $59/ticket which is towards the cheapest seats - the view is excellent. You are close enough to see the players and the action. Ive been loving my secton 226 seats. btw - The win and celebration with fans is priceless. Seeing at home is nice and easy but the reward is much sweeter watching at the stadium. Now corner endzone tickets are tough for me. No perspective.Great video. Im saving that. That video makes it look very small but its not. I was like 10 rows behind the camera. Numbers were very clear. Quote
membengal Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Even the seats upstairs in the corners are not bad.Frankly, for all the bitching, PBS is one of the best football stadiums I have ever been in. Great views of the game, open to the city and river, it is simply a beautiful football palace. Quote

Great view, great game! Quote

derekshank Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I loved how relatively few Steeler fans there appeared to be. I also couldn't help but laugh how excited the crowd got on 3 straight plays. The 4th down conversion, the TD, and the 2-point conversion. Classic. Good crowd. Funny, entertaining video.Also... the chick in the Housh jersey looks like she's going to pass out after the Leonard catch. Priceless. Quote
membengal Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Given the pandamonium in my living room, I cannot imagine how awesome and exciting it was to be there for that live and in person celebrating with other Bengals fans.Good on all that went.Matter of fact, to all who went, and have gone to any or all of the eight straight losses to the Steelers at home, who had to sit there and listen to the jeers and insults from the Steeler fans, I thought especially of you and hoped the moment was as sweet as it appeared to be. Numbers were very clear. What can you see when they're on the other side of the 50?I can see how the win and the celebration beats the hell out of watching it at home. But (as Hair would word it) that's the rub, there hasn't been much of that in recent Bengal history. If the Bengals had more winning seasons I could see making PBS a regular event 8 times a year, but...You season ticket holders earned that celebration bigtime. You've stuck it out. I hope you get to enjoy a playoff win soon. Quote
COB Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Beautiful. I wish I could show it to the players, let them know how much the fans appreciated that win. They hear about dimwitted naysayers like the few at WDR, but look at how much the real fans enjoy a win like that. Pure jubilation. Quote

HoosierCat Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 another one...best part about 1:00 in when the camera catches a steeler fan and you hear the guy going, "ha ha ha."[media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xPT97XIrDk Quote
Kazkal Posted September 29, 2009 Author Report Posted September 29, 2009 I'd take those seats over watching it on my 42 inch plasma Quote
Stripes Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I was up in the nosebleeds around the 45 yard line (section 310), and a patch of Steelers fans was right behind us sneering and jeering throughout the first three quarters. Hearing them suddenly quiet as the fourth quarter progressed and then after the Caldwell TD, jamming my finger at their dejected faces howling with laughter was an absolute pleasure. Quote
membengal Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 That warms my heart, TDB. It truly does. Quote

jonahdsage Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I keep reading steelers everywhere saying that bengals fans reacted like it was our superbowl (whatever that means). Here are some thoughts:1. we were awful last year.2. we lost on a fluke play 1st game of the year3. we beat the packers IN LAMBEAU on a nasty 4th qtr drive4. we beat the steelers, at home, on TWO nasty 4th qtr drives5. everyone hates the steelers If you can't get fired up winning a game in the last 14 seconds you just ain't right. Steelers fans run their mouths constantly and get one shoved down their throat and they get indignant. I can't wait to march into heinz field and give it to them again. Quote
