BengalszoneBilly
...make all the hoopla about the NFL draft and free agency seem like pissing up a rope? It's like Cincinnati could draft/sign all the top prospects, yet it still wouldn't matter. The coaching staff is anemic, not to mention predictable. The ownership runs things under the "Loose Canon" principle. What's worse is we fans still line up like sheep being led to the slaughter.I think I'm ashamed of myself! ArmyBengal
Billy, I'm D-O-N-E, done with buying sh*t or anything else that in any way brings money to this organization, outside of whatever revenue they get for me being able to watch all the games on NFL Sunday ticket. I already sold the tickets I bought earlier for the Chiefs games I knew I would be home for. It's just stupid to remain a "paying" fan of this team. I will continue to root for the Bengals, but I'm DONE. Not that Mike Brown is going to miss my money, but I will feel better.F*CK YOU MIKE BROWN F*CK YOU !!!WHO F*CKING DEY !!! I will always root, but I'm done being a chump for SoP.Billy, remember last week I posted saying I was on the 'Billy Bandwagon' in the thread where you stated you were proud of the team? Hate to do it, man, but I'm officially off.

They seem not to matter whether they are signed/drafted or not! It's as if our game planning takes any hope of success out of them, #1 draft choice Carson Palmer included. Ya know I've followed this team closely since '68. At least some success was found during the years Paul Brown was alive. Mike Brown, with all his formal education, has found nothing but futility. At this point I'd be happy with a "C" average high school grad who at least played a few downs. I'm positive I could find at least 10 members here who could fill that bill. combatbengal
I'm with you guys! All the way. I pulled down my huge Bengal flag from the yard this evening, and will take off all the Bengal signs on my truck. I'm not jumping ship and going to be a fan of another team, but plan to focus more on my son's pop warner team. They play with heart, compassion, pride, and have a 3-1 record. You know, it's a shame when a team gets booed in their own stadium!
volcom69
Agree with everyone i am now done with getting excited anymore about this team. Its like every year i cant wait till Nfl season starts its great just to sit down and watch some football games, but this year its hard for me to even watch any football. I bought Sirus awhile back mostly for the NFL channel, but hell it sucks listening to that because you never wanna hear what they have to say about your team (hell i already know they suck), so im with you i havent bought anything in awhile and i probably wont either. I just hope one day before i die they will put a great football team out there that everyone can enjoy till then i guess i just hate my football sundays. Damn i cant even get into my fantasy football team this year it just really really sucks.

Exactly Billy !!! I was suprised I got back the money I spent on my Chiefs tickets. I won't even feel bad if they turn things around, but I just don't see it and more importantly, I DON'T WANT TO SPEND MY MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. IT'S DEFECTIVE !!! agreen_112
Quit being fans? You're done with the Bengals?... Can we say fairweather? They'll be okay when we get a good O and D line.
Wraith
So for the first pick in the draft the Bengals select....looking like maybe Knowshon Moreno?
agreen_112
Rey Malugula - USC MLB orBennie Wells - OSU RBI'd expect Chad to be traded by then and we should have another first round draft pick in which we'll get either an O lineman or D lineman. jonf45uk
lets be honest, if a wife/girlfriend/partner treated you like this, you'd dump them pretty quickly, wouldn't you??we all know we'll keep rooting for this team, but it really does make you wonder why sometimes!!jon

I'm still a fan and will root hard, but not spending another dime. Mikey doesn't understand football talk, but money talk, he gets.
volcom69
Agreen how can you not be embarresed by what you see on the field every sunday i know i sure as hell am and im not going to support them with my money anymore, ill listen and watch games that are on tv, but no more direct tv ill watch the games i can and listen but thats it for me until someone puts a team out there that gives 110% then they can have my 110%. ArmyBengal
They'll be okay when we get a good O and D line.Dude are you serious ?? When we get a good D-line ?? I'm not even joking when I say we've been waiting on that for better than 10 years now. How long are you willing to continue waiting and while waiting, how much more money would you like to shovel into Mike Brown's pocket ?? I'm not saying to stop being a fan or to stop rooting for the Bengals, I'm merely saying, I'm not giving anymore of my cash to this sh*tty offering of an NFL organization. If you spend a ton of money on a new widescreen LCD television and it doesn't quite function the way it's suppose to, you can take it back to the store and get your money back or exchange it for something better. We can't do that with the Bengals, so you only have one option left. DON'T SPEND MONEY ON A SH*TTY PRODUCT !!!
HoosierCat
Watching the Steelers-Ravens game, it's the start of the second half. Am I mistaken, or is this true:If you took the Bengals offense and the Steelers offense and put them together...you would have the worst offense of all time? Stripes
I'll continue to purchase tickets. If there's one thing that's sure to make a team fail, it's an indifferent fanbase that can't offer homefield advantage.

I'm not gonna turn my back on them when they're down... Yeah, it hurts watching them suck ass, but I'll be watching every Sunday. And now that the fairweahters have seemed to clear out, I may even get down to the stadium to see a couple games. The Bengals are still a bad organization and we still have horrible fans.. SoP is probably the worst owner as far as winning goes. On some levels, he may be the smartest too. I think we'll be fine. It's gonna be a few years guys so just relax and enjoy the ride. At the end of the day, it's just a game.
