combatbengal Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Henry suspended by the NFL. If Henry is acquitted, the suspension could be lifted, Henry's agent Marvin Frazier said. If Henry is convicted, he faces at least a one-season suspension under the league's conduct policy. I am so glad that the Bengals are cleaning house! Quote

rwalling Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Hope they enjoy their one way tickets back to the real world where the crap they've been pulling has real consequences. The money, the privilege and the celebrity are gone. Your fifteen minutes are over (too soon, given your talent). Good riddance. Quote

membengal Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I sure am glad to hear the word "former" used in conjunction with those two toolsheds and the word Bengals in the reports, that's for damn sure. Quote

HAPPYJAQ Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 It sucks that he has to walk around with a tattoo of the NFL shield on his hand for a whole year, after they basically fired him. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 It sucks that he has to walk around with a tattoo of the NFL shield on his hand for a whole year, after they basically fired him. This sort of bizarre behavior and tattoos cross paths more often than not. Both happen when you're really not thinking ahead. Quote
HAPPYJAQ Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 ....Or maybe he'll set a trend and guys will start getting UPS, PNC and IBM tattoos. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Anyone else read where Henry had a visit from the repo man while in court the other day ?? He came out of court only to find his SUV was gone... To d*mn funny !!! Idiot !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
combatbengal Posted June 26, 2008 Author Report Posted June 26, 2008 He deserves everything that's coming to him. All that talent wasted, because his parents didn't raise him with disapline. Quote
HoosierCat Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Well, it looks like Henry will be back. The assault charges have been dropped.http://www.kypost.com/content/wcposhared/s...83-0222640d8213 Quote
membengal Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Who will he be back with? I wonder which club will take a chance on him? Quote
TippCityRick Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 It won't be the Bengals. From you're mouth to God's ears!!!!!! Quote
kingwilly Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 there will be lots of interest. Here is where I see him possibly going.1. Miami - Parcells and Sparano can handle a hard case like him2. SD - If the chargers are going to get over the hump, they need better WR weapons. Jackson, Chambers, Parker????3. Titans - a talent-less WR corp...he would instantly be the No.1, which aint saying alot.4. NYJ - Again, he immediatly becomes a go-to guy.Look, the guy is a total, complete idiot but someone WILL take a chance on him and he WILL probably play again this fall. The coulda', shoulda', woulda's with this damn team make me absolutley INSANE sometimes. Quote
TippCityRick Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 The coulda', shoulda', woulda's with this damn team make me absolutley INSANE sometimes.I guess what I meant was that we have addressed our WR situation and it's time to move on. I was for releasing Henry because I believe he was told that any new incident would be his last chance. I was glad that they followed through on that ultimatum. That being said, IF he gets his head together Henry will make a damn fine receiver as I believe his production has shown. I'm not sure if he's eligible to be reinstated now that these charges have been dropped, but if he is eligible and Goodell reinstates him, it will take only 5 minutes for offers to start poaring in. Again, I believe his production will trump all.ps - isn't that what we do here . . . "coulda', shoulda', woulda" not attempt to drive anyone INSANE!! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 I have made the comment about how if Henry pulled his head out, he could be a #1 on more than one team in the league. Minus pulling his head out, it looks like he may get his shot at that. Some team is going to get him at a VERY cheap price and the fans will love him until he's back in jail...WHODEY !!! Quote
derekshank Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 I'm not going to say that a team won't take a chance on him... but this isn't a situation like a T.O. When you take a risk on T.O. you are risking that the guy might not play hard or become a distraction. You're not talking about spending money on a guy that is one mistake from never playing football again.Sure... a team will take a chance on him. But it's very much like the Odell situation. Lots of fans wanted him to come back and start as the MLB... but Marvin knew that if they counted on that, it would only lead to disappointment, because he's was one bad decision from a year off. And you can't build hope around a guy like that.Henry is not the kind of player you can count on. Any team that picks him up and relies on him as more than a #3 receiver will be risking a major letdown when he gets arrested while celebrating a playoff win and isn't available for the Super Bowl (Or something less dramatic).
