Grizz08 Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 After a long over time game between KC and Cleveland the Browns pull off the win 31-28!!! Now the Bengals are beating KC for the 2nd Wild Card but I still would like to see Denver lose to the Seahawks to help the Bengals out even more! Who Dey! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 Cleveland Wins!!! Alright Seattle do your job tonight!!This is shaping up to be a very good weekend for our Bengals! Got some good help. Kitna just hit a pass to fellow QB Josh McCown!?! WTF is going on in that game!?! Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 While watching the "MIGHTY CLEVELAND BROWNS" i missed Tenn hit a 60 yd field goal to beat Indy! Quote
kybengalsfan Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 Can you believe the comeback the Browns had over KC? Last I looked the Browns were down 28-14, and then I see them playing OT. Wow, that makes our WildCard chances better. I hope they tie the Ravens next week, that would be best for us, I think Quote
membengal Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 WWOOOOOOOOO!!!Called at least that upset. Told you all that was a dangerous game for KC.Sweet.Like to see Miami drop Jax to 6-6 and now getting ready to put on Seahawks gear for tonite.Awesome. Quote

HoosierCat Posted December 3, 2006 Author Report Posted December 3, 2006 The Bills just scored against the Chargers. Here comes the onsides kick...They blew it. Chargers win.Was looking shaky there for a bit but really the only game that's gone against the Bengals is the jets win in Green Bay. The Mighty Cleveland Browns were a welcome surprise. We are now the 6 seed, I repeat, we are now the 6 seed!I think so. Tho I believe that if Denver loses tonight we are back outside looking in. If they lose they are tied with KC, and KC wins the 1st WC spot on the AFCW tiebreaker. Then it's between us, Denver, the Jets and possibly Jax if they beat Miami for the last WC spot. Denver has the AFC tiebreaker there. If Denver wins we eke out the 6th seed on AFC record. I still think it's better long-term for us if Denver loses, tho.7-3 Miami Quote
Stripes Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 The Bengals and Jets look like they have the best Wild Card chances right now. Who'da thunk it? Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 The Bengals and Jets look like they have the best Wild Card chances right now. Who'da thunk it?Uh...me! Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 3, 2006 Author Report Posted December 3, 2006 The Bengals and Jets look like they have the best Wild Card chances right now. Who'da thunk it?I'd add in Denver, thanks to their strong 7-3 AFC record. I'm really on the fence about whether to root against or for them tonight. Quote
Stripes Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 Denver's a boom or bust now with Cutler... Tonight will be pretty telling as to how the season will play out for them IMO. Quote
duus Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 The Bengals and Jets look like they have the best Wild Card chances right now. Who'da thunk it?I'd add in Denver, thanks to their strong 7-3 AFC record. I'm really on the fence about whether to root against or for them tonight.I have a tough time rooting FOR another team in the wildcard hunt. I think I understand the thinking in terms of another team 'in the mix' should it come down to KC and Cincy, etc., but regardless, I think it is simply better at this point (with 4 weeks to go) to want all teams ahead of you to simply lose. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 Yeah I guess I'm missing the reasoning behind wanting Denver to win? Wouldn't the Bengals' win the tie breaker with KC? No way they catch SD - if the Bengals' take care of their own business, and win in Denver, things will be set from what I can tell for the WC spot. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 3, 2006 Author Report Posted December 3, 2006 Joey picked in end zone. Dang. Quote
duus Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 I find it a bit funny how we are all wanting these 7-4 and 6-5 teams to lose, which, of course, helps our playoff chances ... yet here in Urine land, all the talk continues to be that if these very same teams lose, everyone is thorougly convinced that the Black-N-Urine will roll into Cincy on 12/31 having the same 8-7 record as the Bengals. And you know they see themselves winning that to grab the final spot ahead of the Bengals.Just seems funny to me that everyone has the same interest ... especially when one of those teams is currently 4-7.
