Everyone keeps saying this is going to be a very tough stretch... I just don't see it. I'd say we'll be the favorites to win every one of the games listed up there except possibly Baltimore if they continue to win.

We very well may lose one of them, so I ask you folks which one it will be. Since this is a Bengals board, I have a feeling "after week 10" will win the vote. :P

The Bengals have never started better than 6-0. I think we'll at least tie that mark... and a home win over the Falcons will best it.

I know it was only one game... but Baltimore doesn't scare me anymore. They beat a Buccaneer team that was getting awful QB play, and Oakland is the worst team in the league. They then barely squeaked out a win against the Browns with a last second 52 yard FG.

The Atlanta game will probably be farily tough. They match up fairly well against us. Great running game... specifically a QB that is able to move around... but if we make it past that one alive... I don't see us losing for a while.

If we lose to anyone it will be the New England. I dont think we'll lose to the Colts again this year since they aint got the edge anymore.

Who Dey!!!

I went with the Chargers. If they get that far undefeated, they will be coming off a division slug-fest with the Ravens, and may be a little beat up and emotionally drained. If so, Tomlinson and that Chargers D may catch them at the right time...

Lose? Bah! :P

:bengal:

I agree! I'm sticking to my pre-season prediction boys. 16-0! Write that down in the books (or notepad, or Word 2003).

I picked us to go 13-3 but were looking better & better each game this season. But I wont change my prediction. I could still be right.

Who Dey!!!

I think we can win all these games and the fact we only play two on the road helps GREATLY !!! The Falcons should be the toughest in my mind, but I'm still going to say after week 10...

HOMER ALERT HOMER ALERT !!!

Come to think of it, it's not being a homer, it's a fact... God I love this team !!!

WHODEY !!!

I think falcons are the biggest challange on the scheadule 1# rushing team vs us who are still trying learn how to stop the run.chargers too because of LT if willie did 133 on us think what LT will do.

Still think those Falcons loom large on the schedule?

It is at home and after that performance I am not to concerned that our offense can't put up more points on their defense than their offense can put up on our defense!

:bengal:

Now I'm a little more concerned about the Saints! :o

:sure:

And I'm sticking with my prediction of 19-0. :P

As for the strength of schedule note, yeah, so much for us having that killer sked, eh? The three teams weve beat are a combined 2-7; the next 3 we face are a combined 1-7. Our whole sked is just a game over .500 right now.

I'd say the Patriots is the first lost. Has Brady ever lost back to back games? If Pitt sacked Palmer 7 times, just think what Seymour, Wilfork, Warren and all those LB's will do?

Yes. patriots will be your first loss. :sure:

No... the Pats didn't lose 2 in a row last year... but the Steelers hadn't lost 2 in a row in an awfully long time either when they lost 3 in a row to Balitmore, Indy and Cincy.

It all depends on how the schedule falls. The Pats lost every other game for the first 9 weeks of the season last year... and much of that was due to scheduling. They lost at home last week... and this week go on the road against a better team. 2 losses in a row? There's a first time for everything.

If they give up 150 yards rushing a game and 6-7 sacks like last week, they're going to lose quite a few games.

That game was an abberration for an undeniably banged up defensive squad. The two games before, both against strong rushing units, I believe provided a better glimpse of how well this defense can play. Let the replacements for the injured players get settled in for a week or two, and I'm sure what we saw happen against the Chiefs and Browns will happen every week thereafter.

You dissected that pretty well. Not sure how we will defend all your 7 ft. tall receivers but after last week, I know Bill has the boys out at the woodshed and he is grinding his gears trying to devise a gameplan to take away the pass....not so much the receptions...but the passing.
