  1. Eli Apple is in at CB Unnoticed benefit of that long drive : D got a nice long rest
  2. So with Carman in at OLT we drive 83 yards for a TD. I cant hardly believe it, but there it was, right out of the old clock radio I am listening to
  3. 2 point is successful. Up by 7. Ok, that in essence makes up for the PAT miss earlier Dont worry Shooter, we still luv ya dude. I agree that the earlier PAT miss is now irrelevant, as they doubtlessly would have just kicked the PAT and been 7 up, same as we are now, had the PAT not been missed earlier. I do not see it as we could have been up by 8. Good job Tee and New Guy
  4. missed the 2 but theres a penalty on D. so do it again from the 1 :-)
  5. so they still probably go for 2 here
  6. erk TD is not a TD. 1st and inches. Probably still go for 2 if they do punch it in
  7. H U R S T T D and a griddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I think Hurst owes Chase lunch for this) Bengals going for 2 since that'd put them back up 7 rather than 6 on a PAT
  8. quick throws, quick throws ok, this is still doable
  9. Carman is apparently doing well in the running game. 6 yards then 7 yards behind him
  10. Yeah, its gotta be a quick passing attack for the rest of the game
  11. Need to move to a quick throw game due to Carman being out there as the *TJ throws up in his mouth a little* OLT
  12. dodged a bullet there. thank god no td at 10 seconds left
  13. Bengals ps elevations were a DE and LB should have been a CB and Prince ah well
  14. Dax Hill in as our new starting outside CB
  15. Bengals dropping like flies. Now Apple.
  16. dan hoard says fuckin CARMAN is sitting in Jonah's spot on the OL bench
  17. Good luck Stripes :-) Here's to hoping it is half the work for double the money
  18. Lap believes Cappa is out for the year
  19. Hey mem, I asked in another thread - but whats the mood going into the playoffs like in the land of crabcakes? "no big deal, we rested everybody, that was nothing" or "FUUUUUUUUUCCCCCK we have to play those monsters again???? NoooooOOOOOOOOO!" or something inbetween?
  20. I would have liked to see a game with Sewell and Chase
  21. Zak said a bit earlier today that he didnt think Cappa would be back for this weekend, which implies he isnt out for the season, so thats M U C H better news than I had expected.
  22. What I had heard about Scharping is that he played fairly well initially in his rookie 2019 season, then regressed, and as a result, lost his spot. He started over 30 games for the Texans, so he has two years-ish experience as a starter, which is good PFF 60 is solidly good for a backup, and maybe he will be better next weekend after taking all of the snaps with the first string this coming week Somewhat related - starting to wonder if DAnte will ever see the field, given that they put Carman (who they clearly dont like) on the field as the jumbo package 6th lineman when they could have used DAnte, who at one time seemed to be a rising young player in this group. Ive heard no praise for DAnte recently. Another bit of speculation: bring up Prince, have him take ORT, and slide Adeniji to ORG. I dont like this one, but its possible - isnt this how we played the Superbowl?
  23. Well, there are two OTs and a OG on the practice squad, so you can indeed elevate one of those guys However, that leaves a space on your practice squad, and yes, its possible that over the course of the playoffs you could need yet another OL So you get one to backfill that bottom of the ladder spot, and everyone currently here moves up the ladder so that still means you at minimum - again, assuming Cappa is out - sign an OL (preferrably an OG) to that bottom of the ladder spot so again I call for Mr Spain
  24. well, with it assumed that Cappa is out for the season (and I dearly hope he isnt) we do need another OG from my point of view, I'd rather have a veteran who can come in without a lot of practice and be able to contribute, not as a starter (as he did when we first acquired him off waivers) but in case someone goes down I think he fits that bill all that said - if someone feels there is a better option out there, speak up. I havent forgotten about Hopkins, btw.
