  1. I kinda cant blame them. I truly believe the guy has first round level talent and they got him in round 3 They gambled They lost Coulda been amazing if they guy werent crazy sauce ah well If I were running the team, I'd arrange for a fellow to accompany him at all times - ostensibly a bodyguard/driver, but really, a minder. Makes sure that no assaults occur and all meetings are attended. If he doesnt accepting the babysitting service, yeah, outright release.
  2. my hope is that they hire the DC and then let him recruit his own staff, which may or may not include the two secondary coaches we still have. The emergence of Josh Newton as a starting quality cb should count in their favor
  3. go team Sewell go team Reader go Lions great teams have great lineman
  4. one problem Joisey: everyone knows that time machines are powered solely by arby's potato cakes, and you cant get those no more it is rumored that the US Govt has a pallet of frozen potato cakes in an armoured underground bunker, so there is that
  5. I am less concerned about whether they fire or keep existing FO and coaching personnel My number 1 concern is solving the "first 3 games" problem Second concern is the overall defense, though I think they found some keepers with the two new DTs, the new DE, and the 6th round corner Third concern is the interior offensive line Notice that I have yet to mention our two top WRs and their need for more money than I'd earn in 100 lifetimes?
  6. "Jets favored" W O T ?
  7. chiefs will be resting all of their starters jets are....well, they're the Jets
  8. Damn you Hendrickson
  9. miles murphy sighting?
  10. my dead gramma said to tell you that 11 wins is 11 wins :-)
  11. pack has 11 wins
  12. its really bad luck that we take on the NFC North at a time when that division is very strong
  13. Calling it now We beat Shittsburgh so we can make our draft slot worse Miami beats the pitiful Jets Denver beats the Chiefs
  14. Joseph Ossai 8 tackles and a half sack Does anyone have access to his PFF score for this game? Finally coming into his own, it seems
  15. its the combination of the three that make it highly unlikely. even 2 of the three is fairly unlikely
  16. The point being is we have to be ready for those first two games actually ready, not like just show up and whatever
  17. Just imagine Just imagine where we'd be if we could have won ONE of the first 2 games JUST ONE
  18. There's almost no chance that the Chiefs will beat the Broncos Chiefs are resting their starters and the Broncos would love to get a rare win against KC I think theres a good chance the Bengals beat the Steelers since they cant lose when they need to lose Miami loss is a maybe.....but they will be playing for their playoff lives against the godforsaken Jets I think it is more probable that COB will get an italian sub with potato cakes at the Arby's in Kent next weekend than the playoff scenario lining up for the Bengals
  19. but......but........Akili Smith?
  20. Bengals in the 90's also I dont think Haslam had anything to do with the Cheesecake Factory incident :-) Unless that was one of his cashiers rendering the, uhm, services You lose :-)
  21. not as long as Mike Brown is alive
  22. Army, Mac was not Money even well before his injury, so I think we'll see serious camp competition brought in for 2025 I see York clearing out his locker before taking a one-way flight after our final game, even if it is the Superbowl *laff*
  23. so the Bengals need 3 things to happen to make the playoffs in addition to winning out, and one of those things happened today Colts need to tie or lose - this happened today the other two being Miami needs a tie or loss - they are playing Cleveland right now, and are up by 3 early Broncos need to lose to KC. Chiefs has already stated they will rest their starters, and the Broncos would LOVE to get a win on KC, so this one is not likely to fall to us so I still say play to lose for the best possible draft spot
  24. shrug, someone has to kick. Maybe bring Ocho in for a tryout? York is just a rental for this year, so they'll finish out with him, even if its the superbowl *laff* It is my presumption that they will draft a k and let he and the former Money Mac (and maybe also a UDCFA too) duel it out for 2025
