I saw the Burrow interview last night as well and thought the same thing again. Good for Burrow to speak up for his guys. Gesicki was targeted 83 times this season (nearly 5 times per game) and had 65 receptions on the season (nearly 4 per game). So 78% of the time, when the ball was thrown his way, he came down with the catch. Just for comparison sake, Ja'Marr caught the ball 72.5% of the time and Tee caught the ball 67% of the time. Yoshi had 61 targets for (59%) and RB Chase had 65 targets for (83%) which was incredible for Chase this year. The argument to keep Gesicki isn't based on his redzone production of TD's, but rather his ability to get open and come down with the ball. Additionally, 38 of Gesicki's 65 receptions went for a first down. This was the 2nd best season of his 7 year career. BRING HIM BACK !!

Lambeau Field is legendary. Couldn't tell you anything about the area but I’m going to see a game there at some point just because.

I’ll say it again… Hey TJ Houshmandzadeh ?? Come get your boy. He’s a fuck up and you gave all kinds of thoughts about how much he’s matured and focusing on turning things around for his mom and sister. Well, either you were full or shit, he was full of shit, or he really doesn’t think much about his mom and sister. Maybe a combination of all of those. Either way I really thought he would have had a positive impact with the opportunity given to him. Nope, nope and nope. I was wrong and he’s a throw away pick. Hate seeing talented people piss away opportunities.

Anyone else happy we are playing an 8pm game Saturday evening? I love when the Bengals play on Saturdays.

Mixon made it for the Texans…

That freshman receiver, Jeremiah Smith, for those who haven't or don't watch the Buckeyes play, is as the young kids say... THE TRUTH !! I hope they keep up this playing intensity against the Longhorns. Honestly, I think Penn State will beat either Notre Dame or Georgia. However, the backup Georgia QB isn't some newbie either. He's been in that system for a minute. GO BUCKS !!!

Buckeyes just dominating the Ducks tonight. If you didn’t know, ESPN2 has McAfee and his crew doing the announcing. Totally ad lib and hilarious !!
-
Sitting watching the Texas Arizona State game now, while waiting for the Buckeyes game. Cannot fucking wait !!

Well the Dolphins are starting Huntley again this week against the Jets. The Jets at least have the 5th overall total defense and may disrupt things a bit more than a bottom half Browns defense.
-
I like Burrow putting the pressure on the front office. Good for him.

And It Just Gets Better for Browns Fans

Cleveland being Cleveland. Maybe the Bengals should move across the River into Covington. Let Kentucky tax payers figure out how to pay for all the shit !! -
I’ve seen a ton of variance between draft lines of thought this early. Still enjoy it.

Kelce finishes first in “fan” voting ?? Nice to be dating Taylor Swift and have all those 12 year girls voting for you online.

Agreed Hoosier, that's the easiest $10 million in savings they can make. Truly a no brainer. That being said, waiting to hear he will be sticking around in 2025.

Time for record projections. RIGHT ?!?! at Browns- WIN at Steelers- LOSE at Ravens- LOSE Browns- WIN Steelers- WIN Ravens- WIN Patriots- WIN Jets- WIN Jaguars- WIN Bears- WIN Lions- LOSE Cardinals- WIN at Bills- LOSE at Dolphins- WIN at Broncos- LOSE at Packers- LOSE at Vikings- LOSE That's 10-7 on the season. Now if they open the season with any of the teams I listed as a WIN in the first 3 weeks, my projection changes to 7-10. Honestly, just like this year, they can beat any of these teams. Zac, Pollack and Anarumo (see no changes) will keep that from happening. FINAL PROJECTION 9-8

I hope he gets well as well, but I also hope they move on from him. Jenkins and Jackson have gotten a lot of solid reps and at this point probably bring as much as he would. Bring back BJ Hill and draft another young DT for the rotation. Good luck and get better Rankins. And to the business side of things, buh bye. The Bengals would save over $10 million with that move.

I agree with you Stripes. Why reward tanking, while punishing playing the year out tough? I'm kind of surprised they haven't thought about it yet. That's a whole another night of prime time viewership to be had. FOR EXAMPLE: The Super Bowl is February 9th. The tampering period for Free Agency starts March 10th. The NFL Draft is April 24th. So maybe on March 7th, Friday night primetime, they host the NFL Draft Lottery special. Beyonce or some other talentless hack can perform after half the teams slotted and everyone makes money. I'm telling you right now, I would tune into that shit. This way, teams would also know when they are going to be picking before free agency hits and the draft happens.

I would be inclined to take KC and the 9.5 in that one. I don’t think it’s a throw away game. Wish they were playing in KC.
-
I don’t even need to read that to know what it says. The same thing any article says about why the Bengals seemingly underachieve. Same shit. Sadly true.

Yeah, it's AI, but I found this amusing... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHEqsCU7PPY "You get 6 points, you get 6 points"

The Miami/Jets game is also a 4:25pm start time on Sunday. Will be rooting for the Ravens, not that it should be challenging this time around. That way the Steelers won't have the division title on the line against the Bengals. A win would have them back in Baltimore for the wild card game. A loss would see them travel to Houston. If I were the Steelers, I'd rather go to Houston, so losing to the Bengals might not be the worst thing for them in the long run.
-
Yeah so many things to consider. I like the thought of that but then again if the Broncos beat the Jets earlier, then that game has little meaning.
-
I concur with the above. I don't think it's unreasonable. Chiefs/Broncos is still a division game and regardless of who's in for the Chiefs, they won't want to lose to the Donks. Honestly, I think the Jets beating the Dolphins is less probable. Will Rodgers or Taylor start that game? Taylor might be the better option at this point.
-
Agree wholeheartedly. They screwed themselves over yet again with the slow start to the season. It's part of the reason why Zac should be on the hotseat. His team is never ready to start the season. NEVER...
-
They would hold the tie breaker over the Broncos for the 7th seed and still needing to win against the Steelers. So, the best they could still hope for is the 7th seed and a trip to Buffalo. Now 2 more games and they are still in the AFC North mix and clinched a wild card.
