Much like the last time Burrow went down. The only thing that really excites me is waiting to see what draft pick we end up with. It's not every year a team with an above average QB is seen picking in the top 10. With that being said, I too expect them to screw that up. Beating the Steelers really wouldn't hurt my feelings though. Just temper that shit. Side note... Can someone call TJ Housh and tell him to come get his boy Burton? I mean seriously, consecutive healthy scratches. Note to self, don't listen to TJ Housh anymore about draft prospects. Still can't pull his head out of his ass enough to know you can't be late to practice. Fucking two cent head turd.

This is totally a game I could see the Bengals winning. Not that they should or will, but it just wouldn't shock me either. I love how Tomlin is all butt hurt about the Browns trading Flacco to the Bengals. Not that I disagree with him, but it always amused me. He said you don't help a team in the division when they are down. Again, I don't necessarily disagree with him. Here's the other thought though. Flacco might win enough games to take the Bengals out of getting a blue chip player in the draft. Honestly, I think that's a more damaging thought process to the Bengals than thinking they are going to make a run and shit. I don't give the Browns enough credit to be thinking like that when making a trade of that nature though. Bengals 27 Steelers 24 Why not?

Watched a couple of series and found no joy in doing so. Washed the cars instead. Expected the loss so no surprise here.

Honestly I think the talk of Flacco being a statue is a bit overstated. The guy, while not Lamar, knows when to step up in the pocket and can still get enough steps to either side to make plays. Am I saying he’s going to be great behind this line? No, I think they lose again but Flacco is far from standing still waiting to be tackled.

He should have had them all stop eating Cap'n Crunch in the morning.

If things really go off the rail even with Flacco, I think they really need to see what they have in guys like Matt Lee. Is he really going to be the long term answer when Karras leaves, which I agree should be sooner rather than later? If both Karras and OBJ leave do they look to the draft? Free agency? Middle tier guy to get by? I'd love to start fresh through the draft, but don't think that's a recipe for success in 2026. I could be proven wrong of course. I like Fairchild and not sure what is going on because he looked good early on. What happened? Is it him sucking? Injury? Decline of others around him? Scheme? I really have no idea. I do know that Karras talking about looking forward to working with Flacco didn't sound very sincere. It sounded like what you have to say when the camera is in your face. Honestly, I think the o-line has more issues than just talent. Something seems really off with that group. It's like they aren't a group, but just 5 dudes out there doing their own thing.

Nice of them to drive him and his wife to Cincinnati. Guess the airport was closed.

Time to move on from CTB. He's an unrestricted free agent after this season and they should just start over with a young CB in the draft. No reason to throw money at him hoping he finds his form from a few seasons back.

I'm thinking train wreck and hoping for the smooth aerodynamic ride of a bullet train. Boy those are fun. Wish the US had them.

Well, I will be rooting for Flacco for sure. I will probably watch this week just to watch him play and see how it turns out. If nothing else, it should be interesting. Just hoping in a good way... 4 days is short order to pick up what teams take months to get in place.
-
I keep wanting to think, "Flacco has never had skill players like this EVER" and maybe that helps the situation. Then my 1990's PTSD kicks in and I think, "WE ARE DOOMED" !!!
-
I was a little disturbed for a second when I thought you were “Whackin’ for Flacco”. Like I’m not sure why you would share that, but we are all like family around here so why not? Do you COB !!
-
Sounds reasonable. I mean, he has 4 days to learn the playbook and be in sync with the WR's. What could go wrong?

Is there an award for being the shiniest turd in the toilet that is the Bengals?
-
Swapped our 5th for their 6th and Flacco. They were giving him away really. Stranger things have happened. It's not like the offense is devoid of talent. Going to cost the Bengals less than $2 million for the remainder of the season. Wouldn't that be crazy to see Burt snap into full beast mode and have the Bengals win the AFC North? Honestly, that would be hilarious. A huge middle finger to both the Ravens and Browns. Then I wake up and realize we are still fucked.
-
Not even I want to consider this right now. That's saying something. Maybe it's the lack of faith that even if they make a good pick, it won't matter.
-
"Sure"? No
-
Nothing personal, but Anthony Richardson is straight ass. However, in comparison to what we currently have, he might be the shiniest turd.

So our only options currently on the team at the QB position are Jake and Brett? Got it. In that case I choose driving nails into the back of my hand. Thankfully Zac is still going to be calling plays so there's hope. Oh wait... So terrible. Bengals-17 Packers- 31
-
Hitting Zac in his stupid smiling face with a burger on his way out is fucking priceless !! Dude, I cannot stop laughing.

For the first time in a while, I didn't catch a single snap from yesterday's game. I have no idea how they actually looked. I fully expected them to lose this game though. Maybe Jake not throwing 3 INT's keeps them in the game. Maybe not. The Lions were a better team even if Burrow was playing in my opinion. I expect the losing to continue and I say that very unemotionally. I can't even begin to think of how upcoming Bengals games spark any interest for me and that's sad. There is nothing interesting about them and Zac is a fool. Lets see how "unwavering" his support for Jake is now. Thank God I love college football. Even if my team loses, I still enjoy watching. It use to be that way with the NFL for me, but sadly that is not the case much any more.

Better luck next year Reds. Hoping to see them make some additions to the team and have the younger players progress. They seem to have some talent in the minors coming up as well. Needless to say, I'm pretty happy the Reds made it back to the playoffs, despite the quick exit. Next year holds some promise and I'm good with that.
