Agreed Mem... so every week is a must win unless they go on a 7 game win streak, wrap up the division and rest starters for the final. Can we just pencil that in and go from there ?? I vote for that.

There has been a lot of talk about the play calling of Zac to this point and regarding that thought, I'm curious how to take Mixon's comments after the game, especially the last part: "Coach called it up, and we came out being physical. We came out being physical and we basically did whatever we could for him to keep calling them plays and running plays, and he actually stuck to it." I wonder if Mixon thinks the running game hasn't gone well to this point because of Zac's play calling or him abandoning it for throwing the ball down the field ?? Just more curious than anything seeing as how the run game has pretty much sucked ass to this point. Here's to hoping Zac and the team relies more on the running game and the o-line can continue to create holes and block well moving forward !!

Not that it's not already known, but here's the slate after the bye week: @ Steelers @ Titans Chiefs Browns @ Buccaneers @ Patriots Bills Ravens My reason for displaying that is to ask a question... What week do they have coming up that ISN'T a "must win" ?? They put themselves in an 0-3 hole in the division and if they don't win it, the wild card race is going to be heated. The Bills, Ravens, Titans, Chiefs and Bucs are all in first place of their respective divisions (Bucs haven't been great though). Injuries are going to be key. They need to heal up and get lucky much like last season. My concern is the lack of consistency from the offense, but if they run like they did yesterday, this is going to be fun to watch. They might piss me off from time to time, but I'm no where close to saying they can't make another run at it. Upcoming Divisional Games: Ravens @ Saints (Tonight's MNF, then on bye week like us) Browns @ Dolphins (11/13) Saints @ Steelers (11/13)

Hilarious TJ… I took a nap and meant to get up for the game. I woke up and it was 28-0. Glad to see the Bengals handling things with the running game. On a side note, I heard a name and saw a play that I was secretly hoping would continue to go unheard. (Terrace Marshall) Had we taken Sewell in the first instead of Chase he was the guy I wanted in the 2nd. That was his first TD since being drafted by a horrible Panthers team that hasn’t had a QB worth a shit. Would love to see him make his way to a reunion with Burrow and Chase down the road.

Shhhhhh, you’re going to ruin the surprise.
-
Misguided ?? Probably. However, at the midway point of the season the team should know who they are. Unless they can figure out how to be more consistent, not play half the game, improve playcalling, get better o-line play and establish a running game, I think we know how the story ends. The schedule gets nothing but harder as we go and again, I just don’t have the faith in them at this point. The injuries mounting certainly aren’t helping them either. Will still be rooting hard Sunday.

Nope going to spend it all on hookers and blow. No worries… all of you are invited !!!

Hasn't that dude always looked strange ?? Or is this more strange than normal ?? You know... People are strange, when you're a stranger. Faces look ugly when you're alone. Just something to consider.

Yeah, 5 billion is pocket change to that dude. That would be so weird to have that kind of money. That's FAR beyond a position of fuck you.

Please don't confuse coming here to "rant" or spout off stupidly even when completely wrong equaling any rise in my blood pressure. I've moved on from that a while ago. Now, I rake leaves in the dark with a headlamp, fold my 85 year old mother in law's underwear while watching porn, cut my grass while being extremely intoxicated on my riding mower and even on occasion turn my attention to my wife when football is on TV (that really gets her going). I'm not changing teams seeing as how I've followed since I can remember in the early 70's. The team has more often than not let me down, pissed me off and even fucked me over when betting on them. They are still by and large a shit organization in my opinion, who occasionally catch lightning. Even when they catch that lightning, they fuck it up. All that being said, I will be tuning in this Sunday hoping they don't fuck it up again. If they do, I might turn to seeing how many of those things listed above I can do at the same time. Think my wife on the mower, at night, intoxicated, while folding my MIL's underwear and a porn playing on my iPhone. Shit if I could pull that off at 52, the circus might not be out of reach just yet.

"May" TJ ?? She's the starting CB this weekend. Get her some Gatorade or whatever the hell it takes. So the 2-6 Panthers are coming to town with "who knows" at QB and having just lost to the Falcons in a most ridiculous way. Oh by the way, the Panthers have yet to win on the road this year, currently sitting at 0-3 in that category. Sounds like the Bengals don't have a chance.
-
So maybe we can afford to pay Burrow when he's 38 and on the downside of his career, after he's won 3-4 Super Bowls for someone else ?? Hope the Bengals front office is playing the lottery that's up over a billion now. Unfortunately for them if they are, I'm planning on winning so there's that.

A while back when all of this started I remember reading how the sale of the then Redskins to Snyder was less than a billion. He had like 40 or 45% ownership, but bought out the other owners in the group with I think his mom and sister, but 80% or so was in his name. Needless to say, with the Broncos selling for a bit over 4.5 billion, Snyder is going to make a fuck ton of money on the sale.
-
I read more into this one than if we had lost to the Falcons. It's a division game against a far worse team. They didn't just lose either. They got kicked in the fucking teeth. I have no faith, but will root regardless.
-
Maybe he plays better within the Steelers defense, because he didn't play worth shit for Washington.
-
It doesn't matter in my opinion. This team is not going to get better before the schedule gets harder. Even when it does, I have NO FAITH in the coaches to do what needs to be done. After what they did last night, against an inferior team, a division rival, on national TV, what we saw is what they are. I didn't have much faith in them beating the likes of KC or Buffalo anyway. This team is barely going through motions.

That old saying that parents aren't suppose to bury their babies is an absolute. It's devastating. My very best to Mike.
-
That was a must win game. WAS... I wonder if they might be ready to play today? They sure as fuck weren't last night.
-
I always liked Claypool and will be rooting for him again in the move.
-
I feel very bad for Mike Zimmer. Like him, my father lost my mother at a young age (56) and then lost my brother younger (40). He was so strong through all of that. It was unreal to watch him keep it all together. Unfortunately he passed a couple years back, but I get what Mike is now having to go through. Prayers and best wishes for everything the family is dealing with. So sad.
-
I get that winning solves everything but until they can do that on a consistent basis, they are deserving of all the bullshit I hope they take. Cute outfit though Joe !!

This has to be one of the most significant failures I have seen since Burrow was drafted. Either he is not as good as we all think he is or Zac is completely in over his head with play calling. Maybe a combination of both. Go ahead and flame that comment all you like. Totally inexcusable to lose this game. You can’t call yourself a contender and do what we saw tonight. Well, at least what I saw until I stopped watching. While I didn’t rake leaves in the dark, I managed to help the Mrs. and got two loads of laundry done. That was FAR more productive than what the Bengals showed tonight. There really is not much excitement to this team for me at this point. Losses to Trubiskey, Rush, and now Brissett are about as much as I can tolerate. Just completely fucked.
-
Too bad it’s dark and I can’t go rake some leaves. Oh wait, I have a headlight. Later…

That’s just it, there’s no sooner rather than later. The labrum won’t heal on its own. He HAS to have surgery. The when to the surgery question is determined on how much pain he is experiencing. Knowing the hairline fracture is going to take a few weeks, I would lean to sending him to IR and getting him as good as you can. Do it before the game starts tonight to have this game count in the 4 games and allows them to make the determination at that point. Stupid to wait knowing what they know.

Patrick Queen and Roquan Smith in the same linebacking corps. Nice for them.
