It's a nice answer to the Bills' defensive line rotation, and it should continue to promote Lou's love for versatility. All of the edge players on this roster are good in different ways.

I am so clueless about this year's prospects that I don't even know who this is, but that's no complaint. I know nothing, and the pass rush definitely needed help. Cool beans.

I have no real opinion of Drew Sample. Ignore the draft position and he is a guy. Irv Smith is the primary anyway (with a draft pick potentially on the way). So no objection.

Irv Smith is an excellent pickup. He's probably a slight downgrade from Hurst, but he's good enough that it doesn't feel like a black hole at that position anymore.

Works for me. It occurred to me last night that the CB room isn't in bad shape. Awuzie, Taylor-Britt, and Hilton is already a solid starting unit. Apple and Flowers would be valuable depth, and Jones doesn't take away from the quality of the depth. Cool.
