  1. I suspect Wilcox makes it over Asiasi, and I agree it’s more likely Sidney Jones lists as a CB, and Tycen Anderson sticks over DJ Ivey.
  2. He looks a bit like Bates beyond just the 30, and I was very confused for a moment.
  3. Let’s stick with the lighter camp and stay as healthy as possible.
  4. Predictable, but it should be fun. Wish I could be there.
  5. I expect CTB to take another step this year and become a high-quality starter, and Turner has a lot in common with him. I feel really good about the cornerback room right now, and we're better positioned this time if someone gets hurt again. The Battle pick has looked better every day since it was made too, because even if the safety "weakness" actually is a "weakness", he is such critical insurance to increase the odds of getting someone out there that can play. If Murphy plays like a first rounder in the rotation, Lou is going to have a hell of an arsenal out there.
  6. Hopkins is going to TEN. That might make them sneaky in the AFCS, but I’m glad it’s not KC or our division.
  7. He'll get there eventually if he doesn't continue harming his own candidacy. There's also a weird movement recently to paint him as some kind of obvious, irrefutable top five Bengal ever. While I would say he has a case, it's not clear-cut at all. I'd personally have him behind: Munoz, Parrish, Riley, Chad, Atkins, Willie --> that's already 7th at best. Then it'd be tough with folks like Curtis, Kenny, Whitworth, etc. There are a lot of great Bengals, and Dillon is just one of them.
  8. Glad to see it. He’s one of the good ones.
  9. I don’t know if any of you follow Tom Grossi, but he’s a comic-of-sorts for NFL content on YouTube with a big following. He’s in the midst of touring 30 NFL cities, and his Bengals video just went up. I thought it was a nice watch to feel good about the state of the franchise and fanbase.
  10. I was serious a couple weeks ago when I called him to be brought here. I don't think it'll happen, but I would support it. He has the same flaws as Mixon, but is probably still better at the strengths they share and would come at a similar price. Any upgrade is worthwhile when you're three centimeters from a Lombardi.
  11. Best single season of special teams gunning I ever saw in stripes was Ethan Kilmer anyway. *ducks tomatoes*
  12. Riley made it first ballot. Myles probably never, I’m afraid.
  13. The Ring of Honor nominees? He’s already in. Splitting hairs between Chad and Curtis is difficult, and I am okay with both being number one relative to their peers. Chad’s 4-straight years leading the AFC in yardage tipped my personal scale.
  14. Something like… 1. Chad 2. Curtis 3. AJ 4. Pickens 5. Chase (and improving) 6. Collinsworth 7. Houshmandzadeh 8. Higgins (and improving) 9. Brown 10. Boyd (and improving) McGee, M. Jones, Scott narrowly miss.
  15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4naoO4D959c Duke dropped in on McAfee and Hawk for an interesting and laid back interview. I appreciate this show sometimes, because it reduces the prevalence of ordinary BS mediaspeak.
  16. I no longer have a vote, but I’d probably go with Boomer and Parrish. I expect Boomer and Chad, which is fine too.
  17. So. Uh. Cut Mixon and sign Dalvin Cook? Immediately?
  18. 14-3 Three losses in the [@Browns, @49ers, @Ravens, @Steelers, @Chiefs, vs. Bills] pile
  19. I think Carson Wentz would be a great backup. I'm not sure Carson Wentz feels that way.
  20. I think Stanley Morgan definitely sticks for his Darrin Simmons cred. If Iosivas makes the team and they keep seven, I think the odd-man out almost has to be Trent Taylor (whose primary role is filled by Charlie Jones).
  21. It's theirs to take. They just have to be up to it. Can't drop dumb regular season games to bullshit teams and end up playing on the road in the AFCCG. They can still win in that situation, but if they give themselves the best road then I think they'll handle business.
  22. Chrisman’s hangtime was by far worst in the league, so I am not surprised that’s a point of emphasis.
  23. Good. Appreciate Chrisman’s efforts, but this was necessary.
