  1. Auden Tate, WR - 7th Round

Tate’s way into the roster could be from 30 yards in to the end zone. He’s not a 40 yard time guy so his strength is redzone target height and jump. with that, he could replace Erickson or Core as neither of them can beat Tate in the redzone

  4. I’ll start with Baltimore Beatdown- they give Cincy the best grade of the AFC North after Day 1and 2. Cincinnati Bengals The Cincinnati Bengals had several needs heading into the 2018 NFL Draft. They still need help on the offensive line as well as safety among other needs. In the first-round, Cincinnati selected Ohio State Billy Price, who was once considered the top center in this class. Price suffered an injury at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine, which hurt his draft stock. Although he is expected to be ready for training camp. Cincinnati had three picks heading into day two (46, 77 and 100), however, they traded back from 46 with the Kansas City Chiefs. Cincinnati acquired the 54th and 78th selections in exchange for the 46th and 100th picks. The Bengals selected Wake Forest safety Jessie Bates III with the 54th overall pick. He is seemingly a perfect fit in Cincinnati’s defensive scheme. Bates III is a true free safety. He is a ballhawk, who is an immediate upgrade for the Bengals’ defense. Some considered Bates III to be worthy of a first-round selection, which makes this a great value selection. He was one of the surprise fallers in this draft. With the 77th overall pick, the Bengals selected Ohio State defensive end Sam Hubbard. He has a ton of upside. Hubbard is not an athletic edge rusher, but he has great technique and is phenomenal with his hands. Hubbard adds another element to Cincinnati’s front-seven. Cincinnati selected Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson with the next pick. Jefferson is excellent in coverage, and has sideline to sideline speed. Jefferson is not a strong run-defender and lacks the ability to shed blocks at times. With Vontaze Burfict’s future up in the air, the Bengals bolstered their linebacker corps. Grade: A

To add to that I think Hopkins loses to Westerman and maybe becomes a backup C with Redmond a backup G. TJ Johnson has also been hurt and I think he’s the surprise cut. And someone has to be the backup LT... let’s not forget
  6. 2018 season

I still think Perkins has much better odds at RT than Ogbuehi. Lets say Fisher wins it out of the preseason and they overload or tackle eligible often with Ogbuehi or Hopkins... the dark horse Perkins eventually comes along and solidifies it. Why? Well, what’s the difference between him and Orlando Brown Jr who the Ravens are going to plug in at RT? Perkins is stronger and has the size to be a mauler. Fisher is more athletic I guess but he’s not shown well plus the heart issue (fixed I know) but now a shoulder issue, too.
  7. I think they handed the job to Shawn Williams so Reggie had to go even though Reggie and Iloka were playing the same position. ML thought Whit was signed meaning to me that Whit had a handshake deal with ML. When the FO told Whit that he could get X money but Ced-O would be the man sooner rather than later, Whit bolted. Unfortunately, I sense Mike Brown there. Zeitler... too expensive but no true attempt to replace him.

I would do it if I were living there. I had season tickets back when Lebeau was coach and I paid about 55 bucks for the north end zone . Right before the PSLs started so I would have been grandfathered in on that. I sent the Jungle Pass offer around to everyone I know living around Cincy
  9. Nice Cocoon reference ;) Not every man has the talent to just whip out some Cocoon metaphors when talking Bengals
  10. Back to Katie Blackburn... man it is weird that we never hear from her or Troy anymore... For a while, she or Troy were making videos, doing interviews, and MB was just chillin with his Old man pimpin’ Ain’t easy golf cart
  11. Would anyone put 100 on Eifert playing 16 games this year ? wonder what if there’s a line on that in Vegas

I think Hobs reported that Willis and Lawson have put on weight during the off-season. It may not be updated on the official roster. Krumrie at 270 is a shocker

Take a look at the starting Defensive line in 81 or even 88. Without looking, I bet it’s just as much a difference as the Oline above

  22. Draft Grades and Reviews 2018

these Darrius Phillips TDs are worth a look. I think this solves any questions about who the favorite is to be special teams returner. 4.39 forty at his pro day
  23. Pollack doesn’t use the vertical pass set. It’s going to look way different.
  24. If you’ve watched the bengals since Alexander switched from tightens coach to line, you’ve seen a lot of vertical drops in passing. Linemen fall backward and deflect their opponent. They don’t step into and atttack Their opponent
