  1. Wonder if he goes undrafted
  2. Must be Wilcox or Randy Moss’s son. Or maybe another shot for Sean Brewer
  3. Hahaha!! Where is that elusive tight end dammit
  4. Probably the fastest Bengals team in history. Grab a TE and a Punter now and hit the UDFAs
  5. Surprised this guy was still on the board. Some rankings had him ahead of Charlie Jones, Ced Tillman (to the Browns) and Tyler Scott at UC. This draft has really gone in the Bengals favor. Maybe they get a TE in the end but obviously they are not as worried about it as what we would believe.
  6. Irwin is still here. I think Stanley Morgen is in trouble
  7. TE Leonard Taylor, Bearcat still there
  8. Do they finally take a project guy or a niche filler for TE or OT ?
  9. Charlie Jones, Purdue 6’0, 186 40 time: 4.43 Purdue 4th Round Overview: Jones found his footing last season at Purdue leading the nation in total receptions (110 and 13 games). Lightly recruited out of high school. He spent two years at Buffalo before transferring to Iowa and working as a return specialist. He started in 2021 but poor quarterback play helped him off the draft radar. After uncapping his potential at Purdue, he should be able to see steady, playing time on office and special teams in the NFL. Strengths: snappy foot work with great lower body quickness. Comfortable and experienced working outside. Capable hands when he has to go after passes above the rim. Quick to snap back on curl routes. Changes direction with great efficiency and won’t get hung up in transition. Maintained his momentum through the catch point, and keeps his stride steady. Incredibly productive returner at Iowa and Purdue. Follows his blocks and plays with natural vision. Weaknesses: body catcher, who will use his frame rather than going out to get passes. Shows extra movement on his releases, and will be late to get separation at times. Gets pushed around at the Catchpoint and lacks the strength or control to win without space. Has trouble finishing when passes are arriving over his shoulder. Pro Comp: Andy Isabella, Ravens - Jones likes the speed of Isabella, but his size and style run along the same lines. He’ll need to reel in some of the free styling he does with his releases, but he has the necessary movement skills to be a reliable slot receiver. Grade: 6.5
  10. This has been a really great draft as far as prospects skill… I guess cheering to get a top 150 tackle player was too far fetched . Or the board just didn’t go how they’ve liked
  11. Punt return skills too
  12. They are going to draft offense today and there is still the UDFAs and all the guys on cut down days … they’ve got plenty of room to work… best case Jonah wins the RT job until Collins is healthy or they pick up an OT that beats out Jonah and the rest. Pollack, Burrow and Taylor have taken them deep with much much less than they’ve got now on the offense. Seconds away from being Super Bowl champs even
  13. Hahaha yeah the beer was making me overly optimistic that night lol 5202 !!!
  14. He takes on Tank Bigsby there and wins big
  15. He and Mike Brown kept some guys around who were struggling with life outside (and sometimes inside football). Just never saw Marvin’s defensive team get this many quality free agents and draft picks thrown at it. I think the Bengals have learned from their personnel and spending mistakes finally and Taylor - Lou are getting the rewards from that
  16. That would be interesting. They may go 3 straight offense here
  17. Really blue chip like guys they are getting for the defense. I saw Battle listed as high as 2nd Safety in this draft and said to be a 10 year starter . If his 40 is 4.54 , don’t see why he would struggle deep
  18. I miss the days of signing scrub defenders in late July
  19. Yeah this a Marvin Lewis wet dream
  20. Hahaha yes that’s the way to do it
  21. Older LindseySports Annual Draft Profile: ( pre-combine ) DJ Turner Michigan 6 foot , 180 40 time: four minutes 56 seconds- 5th to 6th round Overview: three star recruit spent his first two seasons is depth and playing primarily special teams broke into the wolverine, secondary and collected 22 starts in his final two seasons in his final year started all 14 games as a key piece to the Wolverines Big Ten championship season after his stellar play was honored with all big 10 honors ( second team, coaches third team, media ). Strengths: Turner played on the outside for the Wolverines, and played a big part in their season-long defensive success. despite his lighter frame, did a nice job taking on contact and staying balanced, in order to mirror his assignment and make a play on the football. showcases high-quality patience and was able to play zone coverage with impressive, instinctual ability. As a downhill mover, closes well to crash on the football and add contest to throws, while capable of limiting additional yardage. Has plenty of special teams experience to help him stick around in the league as depth at the least. Pro-comp: Corn Elder, Free Agent - Grade 5.5
  22. The Taylor- Tobin-Anarumo strategy is getting clearer; fast dudes, stupid athletic, smart and football focused
