Trading down would be a win this year in my opinion. Still a lot of talent up there for 28 too

Bengals may get a shot at DE Myles Murphy from Clemson
-
Won’t go against Lap but surprised he goes for a guy that skinny

Dude... pretty impossible to predict this bengals draft but I'll try .... I suspect they'll trade but not sure of that even... though it's been their MO So I think most likely is 1. DE 2. TE 3. CB 4. S 5. RB 6. DT 7. OT Wouldn't be surprised if certain players fall, they draft something like 1. TE 2. CB 3. S. 4. RB 5. DT 6. DE 7. OT stay away from Musgrave at TE … No WRs abover R4 that weigh under 185 … don’t like it … No Drew Sample / Margus Hunt projects in the 2nd either for F’s sake ! Who Dey!!!

Jerry Jerry Jerry Jerry Jerry!

My bet is that they only take an OT if he “falls to them” in the draft and was “high on our draft boards” like a Logan Wilson LB a few years back … I’m just thinking the money and guys in the room already will be the factor… can’t pay pro-Bowl talent at every position

Round 4 (136): Cordell Volson, OT, ND State
GapControl replied to HoosierCat's topic in Cincinnati Bengals
If Volson starts and plays as well again this year, we are going to be challenging for more championships again. -
Yep… they should lock up Ashcraft, Lodolo, and Diaz … if they are serious about contending for a championship in 2025
-
I agree that an OT prospect is getting dim for exactly the reasons you’ve put down. It’s looking more and more like this is a TE, DE, RB, WR, and CB draft for the front office.
-
Hell of a payment for an almost 40 QB, even if he is an all-time great passer.

The 2005 Bengals were the best I’d seen since the 89 Super Bowl team. Yeah, the D gave up yards but were first in turnovers in the NFL. You had Deltha O’Neal and Tory James getting 15 picks total and Odell Thurman with 5 picks alone. The offense ranked 4th in the NFL that year! 2015 was just a tad below 2005. Better defense with less turnovers though. Really really good offense, more balanced than 2005 but maybe not as explosive. The 2021 team is of course a favorite now but the offensive line was so terrible that it is like that team nearly willed itself to a Super Bowl with some kind of voodoo Burrow magic. Who would win if the 2021 Bengals played the 2005 Bengals or 2015 Bengals even ?

Sign Jarvis Landry for a few years and cut Joe Mixon. use post June cuts JM money to recoup losses. -D. Tobin note left on Mike Browns desk

I remember waiting for the Bengals to draft him the year the Ravens did . I’m glad they’ve added his NFL pedigree and pro-bowl history to their roster, it will make a difference. Here’s hoping he makes the Bengals ring of honor one day !
-
Down a TE1 , RB2, and RB1 if you count Mixon, a Safety 1 (FS) , and Safety 2 (FS/SS) … what else did I miss ?
-
Too bad about Bell… laid one of the best hits on a Stealer player I can remember. Ju Ju is still thinking about that hit
-
So far it’s Chris Evans and Trayveon Williams as your #1 and 2 running backs

https://dailysnark.com/2023/03/08/jamarr-chases-baby-mama-says-she-has-multiple-videos-of-abuse-towards-her-that-will-end-his-career/ anyone seen this tabloid news on J. Chase ??

Mixon is not a good pass protector… for a deal like he is getting, I’d like a guy who can play 3 downs. I am not sure why he can’t pass block… he is bigger than Gio Bernard was so it can’t be a physical issue. He is a great pass catching back and he does have moves in the open field… still, seems like that type of player is all over college football today.
-
With the win streak they were on and the level of defensive play … had the starting 3 OL not gone down at the worst time… it’s like a Super Bowl was given . I think some splash FA signing for the trenches and some young draft picks… you are right back to the Super Bowl as the AFC champ again. It can be done. There are blueprints (Patriots, Rams, Chiefs) for getting those players. I always liked the Patriots roster approach as they’ve won more conference championships and SBs in recent times than anyone

Now that the curse of Bo Jackson is broken, looks like Burrow , Chase, Taylor, and Anarumo and his guys have to break the Curse of the Goodell Zebras … legend has it that this curse began when Paul Brown brought his AFL pedigree to expansion city Cincinnati and continues to this day … no one is saltier than Old NFL Money is about the Brown family

Many, many times a hold could have been called against KC on Hendrickson… such a painful loss . find offensive lineman and another pash rusher somehow and the next SuperBowl belongs to the Bengals

The Bengals we are seeing now in the Burrow era, makes us the luckiest Bengals fans in history… Well… at least since Mikey B. saw COB and Hoosiercat walking out of UDF bored on a late Friday night and offered them both candy and a ride in a Mikey’s just washed and sparkling classic Chevy Lumina. He even lit the cigarette lighter and shared a drag on a J of some homegrown Indian Hills ganja. A flash of Mikey’s garter belt and the guys were convinced they’d finally made it to rarefied epic Fandom. ( Greg Cook wallet shot hanging off Mikey’s key ring almost looked like it smiled and gave a wink, as the doors closed and Mikey took off. )

Dak has been hyped since he got in the league . Over Hyped in the big Jerry Jones market of Dallas . We got the best thing out of Dallas, his name is Frank Pollack and he needs a long term extension for the results he got in Buffalo with a rag tag line . Tobin too. He finally has hit several drafts in a row and even the off and def lines are looking good

You said it brother!
