  2. If getting trolled by evil cabal of bengals-hating media is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.
  3. Shemar Stewart is not real until week 1. There is nobody with that name. It’s just sounds in a random sequence.
  4. The front office has put themselves in this situation. While I think fans are hopeful, I don’t think they are stupid. Yes, the team has had recent success and even made it back to the Super Bowl. However, if that is the only way it’s viewed one might miss the stupid shit that has plagued this front office. I think fans are just tired of what appears to be a lack of commitment to winning. Where’s the “We are going to go all in” approach even one year? You know, when you have arguably the best QB and WR in the league? Yes they got extensions done for them but not before pissing them off, further irritating the fans and costing themselves money because they continue to be cheap. Winning cures all ills, we just don’t do that here.

  6. Shemar's team loves drama and not too smart. Sure. 1. Fight NCAA. Incur legal fees and hope for a quick resolution in time for the college season. If you believe that is viable...point 2. 2. Fight United States labor laws. Because the NFLPA CBA says his rights remain to Bengals if he plays college football or any other league. More legal fees and still need a fast resolution in time for college or CFL season. If you believe points 1 and 2 are still viable or need another "yeah but'... 3. He sits out. Doesn't play and reenters the draft. That will show the Brown family! So if you believe any portion of 1,2 or 3 is viable then point 4: 4. Over half the league uses the clause on their current first round picks. But maybe your sitting here thinking its only half the league and with his NIL money that hasn't been spent on legal fees from 1 and 2 he still could come out ahead or slightly damaged its worth the fight vs. the evil Brown family well then point 5: 5. Clause doesn't change his money. It only changes the timing and form of payment. So say he agrees to all clauses and negotiates a favor payment schedule. Violate a clause he doesn't lose money at that point. It converts to salary which he earns. OH YEAH! THAT's the whole point he could get screwed by the fucking Brown family.... So at this point if you think points 1,2,3, and 4 could favor hims and its worth avoiding the Brown family scheme in point 5 just so they can cut him without cause OK point 6: 6. IF the Bengals unjustly cut Shemar before his rookie deal because he violated a clause. If he's under 3 years vested he hits wavier wire so any claiming team picks up remaining contract. If he's over 3 years he hits FA free to get paid. So if your still sitting here thinking that Shemar has any power left or this fucking contract drama would still be worth it point 7: 7. I can't recall the Bengals ever cutting a 1st, 2nd or 3rd round pick during their rookie deal that ultimately wasn't universally agreed upon by the fan base. Meaning you must suck and even still I don't recall them cutting to many. But if your still beating this drum and its not the reality that matters its the principal that Brown family can't keep doing this then point 8: 8. You'll always be trolled by bad reporting. It has hit the fucking stupid stage. It 100% a dumb agent team.
  7. No surprise. They’ve done very little to improve one of the worst defenses in the league, a defense that objectively cost them games last year. Fans aren’t blind. All that has to happen is that Al Golden needs to turn out to be J. Robert Oppenheimer, Vince Lombardi, and Albus Dumbledore all rolled into one. It could happen.
  8. Good convo with Dehner on the survey and more here. https://www.golongtd.com/p/substack-live-inside-the-cincinnati
  9. I heard he’s going to petition the Florida High School Athletic Association and go back to play for his high school team.
  10. New fan survey out and the verdict is in: everything sucks and ALL IS LOST!!! https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6485298/2025/07/15/bengals-2025-franchise-survey-results/ Highlights: FO sucks Tobin sucks Zac sucks We are never gonna win a SB Franchise going in the wrong direction This offseason sucked Organization hates its fans Seriously it’s pretty bad. Fan confidence has collapsed across the board.
  11. Bengals kick the tires on another DT. https://www.cincyjungle.com/2025/7/15/24468182/cincinnati-bengals-free-agency-workout-kyon-barrs-2025-training-camp-roster
  12. So here’s a breakdown on the situation worth reading from Breech over at cbs. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/back-to-school-back-to-the-draft-shemar-stewart-could-exploit-loophole-in-chaotic-rulebook-to-burn-bengals/ A couple points that really haven’t been discussed before. The first, money. Second, could he go back and play another year in college? Maaaaaaybe. That would be something to see.
  13. Maybe it’s our history of suckage that prevents me from wanting to see another team that hasn’t won a Super Bowl get there before us. I get it though…
  14. The tribe would have won that game 7 if that stupid rain delay hadn’t occurred. Our setup guy, Bryan Shaw, was on the mound in extra innings and I knew he’d get it done. Then 20 minute rain delay, Shaw was pretty old and I knew there was no way that once he was warmed up, he’d be able to handle that delay. Sure enough he gave up the game-winning run, leaving me personally traumatized, bitter, and ultimately, truly, without hope.
  15. That would just be such a huge paradigm shift...or possible sign of the Apocalypse... maybe like the World Series between the Cubs and Indians. Back to the Future stuff Two franchises with long suffering fanbases and whoever wins there's a great story of redemption As long as the Bills don't meet the Bengals in the playoffs, otherwise refunds are in order
  16. Last week
  17. Mike reads this and says, “Hold my 1945 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Pinot Noir”
  18. I want Knight in camp, especially if Stewart is going to sit out. The last thing this team can afford is for its top two picks to both miss time.
  19. Since this is also an Opponents thread, I took a look at the other AFCN depth charts. You have to be impressed with the all around talent Baltimore has brought to that team. #1 threat to the AFCN title. Pittsburgh's depth chart on the defensive side has talent for sure, but that offense does not worry me in the least. You know, if Cleveland has any interest in improving their QB spot they have talent on that roster. So as I sit here today, I have to be honest and think the AFCN falls this way: Ravens Bengals Browns Steelers Now, if Golden makes strides to get a middle of the pack defense and Scott improves the o-line, I think the Bengals will be right there fighting neck and neck with Baltimore through the season. Those two games in week 13 and 15 may very well decide the AFCN champion since we play the Ravens twice in three weeks with the Bills wedged in between them.
  20. I'm not worried about Knight and fully expected this when fully guaranteed contracts started coming for the 2nd round. You know the Bengals front office wasn't prepared for that wrinkle. Stewart? Yeah, there is no reason to think he's going to start come week one at this point. The Bengals needed to try to get a better idea about that BEFORE camp started and shit the bed on that. Now they are left with a player with many unknowns, joining a team with a new DC, and have no clue what to expect. Not only that, when getting a better look at the waiver they wanted him to sign, this is just beyond stupid. I went from totally blaming the Bengals to Stewart sharing in that and now back to it being on the Bengals. I went from thinking Stewart got bad advice to thinking he has someone really smart in his corner. Silly ass Bengals.
  21. I've been seeing the obligatory depth chart projections since we are headed into camp. I decided to take a look at the groups as a whole, without really thinking about who or who won't make the roster. QB's- No real thought to that group with Burrow and Browning as the backup. RB's- Brown and Perrine are locks. I'm left to wonder if all the talk about Boyd leads them to cutting Moss? They would still save just under $3m in cutting him. They typically have 3 active RB's on game days. WR's- Not much here to think of with Chase, Tee, Yoshi and Burton as the 1-4. Jones probably in there as the 5th and then who knows which of the others fills in the 6th spot. Nice when #6 is the only real concern. TE's- No real concern with Gesicki and guess we continue to ride with Sample as the #2 and whomever else. O-line- What can I say about this group? I hope they are better. OB Jr., Karras and Mims are locks to start with questions at both OG positions. Fairchild looks to get the initial shot at LG with a small group fighting at the RG spot. My real only hope is that Scott Peters really gets these guys performing better as a unit as the new o-line coach. DE's- Jesus help us. I find it amusing how I keep seeing stupid trade Trey ideas to the Lions since they don't have a reliable pass rusher next to Hutchinson, but in doing so leaves us with no reliable pass rush AT ALL. The Bengals can't see the past the forest with Stewart because of all the damn trees. And we are left with Ossai, Murphy and warm bodies. #1 concern right now. DT's- I'm glad BJ Hill is back and like the addition of Slaton with Jenkins and Jackson continuing to develop. On a side note, I liked the get of Howard Cross as an UDFA from Notre Dame for Golden. LB's- Love Wilson and hope Burks works out coming from Philly. The rookies Knight and Carter look to get playing time this year as well with both AGD and Pratt no longer with the team. Best I've felt about depth in a while. Safeties- Stone and Battle look to be the starters and then a bunch of guys I don't think much of either way. This position group could have benefitted from a Veteran addition in my opinion. CB's- Has CTB learned to shut the fuck up during the offseason? Both Turner and Hill bring healthy "should" be good if they can stay that way. I know the coaches like Newton and then there's some others. If injuries hit, the group could suffer again. Kicker and Punter leave me with few concerns with McPherson and Rehkow respectively.
  22. Obviously Stewart's holdout has grabbed the spotlight, but it might be worth noting that Knight isn't signed either, like most of the rest of this year's second-round picks. I think a Knight holdout would be worse than a Stewart holdout at this point. Knight got raves in offseason works earlier this year and he is already pretty much locked in as the starter opposite Wilson. Meanwhile, Stewart was looking like much more of a rotational piece in the d-line, at least to begin with. Hopefully some other team can come up with a creative solution to the issue. Gawd knows it won't be the Bengals.
  23. Meanwhile in Cleveland... Seems like there's another report of crap behavior coming out of Cleveland every few days. When this happened in Cincy we were branded for years as a franchise full of thugs and criminals. I wonder when that starts happening to Cleveland? (Spoiler: never, of course.)
  24. So moral to the story is… Forget Sample is on the roster more often than not !!
  25. C R A Z Y L E G S
  26. Ok yeah good matchup. It would be that. I forgot about the fact they hadn’t won a championship either. I would root for the Lions in the scenario. I use to be cool with the Bills and the Bills Mafia, but that fan base might be the biggest bunch of dickheads in the league.
