Ox
Well, there goes the **few** people out there making excuses again. Good thing it's only a couple people out there that think this SB win was highly questionable./sarcasm
BengalChamps
Wow. That was brutal. I wonder how much abuse, if any, Levy is taking in real life. Seriously, I bet he is on a longvacation out of the country.

Good thing it's only a couple people out there that think this SB win was highly questionable./sarcasmYeah, in his fox column yesterday ( http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5316670 ), Adam Schein at least acknowledged that it's fans of all teams, and lots of them, not just some rump group of whiny Hawks fans. He's still in the "it's all BS, the Steelers are awesome, blah blah blah" camp, but his argument that the NFL still needs to take steps anyhow shows (at least IMHO) that the punditocracy is beginning to feel they're behind the curve on this one. (We declared the Steelers great! We exonerated the refs! Why isn't anyone listening to us?)
NJ29
Yo! "Yes I know what pass interference is! When the calls in the Super Bowl out stink Lake Erie, You KNOW something is up.

My team won the Super Bowl.I was right, you just tried to debunk it. The only reason you got into the SB in the first place, was due to the opposition's misfortunes. Palmer getting hurt, Peyton choking after the Steelers gave him every opportunity, and winning in Denver, because the Broncos didn't show up. You're right, you are the Super Bowl Champs, but you are the worst champion in the history of the Super Bowl. If your team faced any one of the previous champions or many of the runner ups, you would get crushed. You can give us this **** that you are happy as a lark, and brag all day about winning the Super Bowl, but your defensive tone shows that you are so insecure about this victory, that you have to lurk around this board and answer every thread that debates your win. Just like most Steeler fans, you cannot be satisfied with anything. You whine when you lose, and you whine when you win.

Yeah, beating the 1,2,3 seeds in the AFC and the #1 seed in the NFC (which is really the #7 seed in the AFC) was all pure luck. We were just the beneficiaries of the opposition's misfortunes for 4 games and the 4 games prior to that. Quite honestly, I see a lot of anti-Steelers talk all over the place in here. And you think we're the whiners? I come on here occasionally because I enjoy a good football debate, and I don't get that on Steelers boards except for from trolls, who do nothing but bait and watch as everyone angrily responds. What's your guys' excuse for the constant talk about the Steelers?

What's your guys' excuse for the constant talk about the Steelers?No......it wasnt luck, it was a gift! Here's why.....1. If your fat f**k of a lineman didnt take out Palmer, our offense would have mopped your Squeelers asses up and down the field, just like in Pittsburgh the game before!2. If Nick Harper went up the sidelines instead of right at Roethlisberger, Jerome would have been the goat!3. The Broncos just didnt show up in the AFC CG.4. Yes the really hard one to figure out, the man you just saw on video, Bill Leavy and his crew of scabs. All of those blown calls, did make a difference!Reason #1+#2+#3+#4= well actually it was luck. My badbut ya know what, Its the playoffs, every little thing gets disected and magnified 100X more. If this were the regular season nobody would even be discussing this as luck, so just disreagaurd that! Oh well, s**t happens you won. Get ready for next year ! If the Bengals had a defense they would have advanced. It's not my fault the Bengals' front office doesn't want to hire a defensive coordinator with a brain.2. If Nick Harper went up the sidelines instead of right at Roethlisberger, Jerome would have been the goat! And if the ref knows the rules, we win 28-10.3. The Broncos just didnt show up in the AFC CG.Great excuse there!4. Yes the really hard one to figure out, the man you just saw on video, Bill Leavy and his crew of scabs.
