Stripes
Reminds me of the classic scene with the villian revealing his dark plans to the hero just before delivering the kill... and then regreting it.Still, that comparison isn't the best here... Villians are supposed to be masterminds... this is Joey Porter.
Ox
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11146555tell me again how Kimo wasn't going for the knee... You Ninja'd me Joisey. I almost posted this same thing. Something fishy going on in Steeler land....
HairOnFire
To his credit Porter doesn't say anything about attempting to injure another player. That said, as long as Joey Porter remains the public face of the Pittsburgh Steelers that team will always be considered a low class bunch of bush players. And to the surprise of nobody Steeler fans will happily and stupidly defend them. BTW, here's a picture I had taken of my unwashed azzhole. --->
2ndyearBengal
Don't we have a huge offensive lineman who can put this fool on his a**. I'd sure want to after Rothlesburger cried about his knee, the steeler linemen said they'd be after Odell, Carson gets hurt on a dirty shot, Cower insults Marvin, and the Steelers mock the Bengals in our house with their gay "we-dey" cheer. I hope to god we have a few pissed off 300lb O-linemen that are out for blood when we play the Steelers next year... I really really hate these guys... ArmyBengal
Agree with Hair on this one, no mention of them actually trying to injure someone, just tap the top of their helmets due to being tired. This is nothing more than Porter being a complete asshat as usual...WHODEY !!!
HoosierCat
Agree with Hair on this one, no mention of them actually trying to injure someone, just tap the top of their helmets due to being tired.Well, George Bush hasn't come straight out and said "we're going to bomb the s**t out of Iran" but it doesn't take a genius to read between the lines, eh?Can we send Porter to the front? WillisXPress
I hope he tries to "tap out a guy" and ends his own career using his head or something equally as caveman....I don't root for injuries maliciously, but low class thugs like Porter and Rodney Harrison deserve to be carried off on a cart
BigBenBlows
The Steelers should change their name to the Pittsburgh Raiders. Those dirty son of a bitches. The only way someone is going to come out in the Super Bowl is if they are hurt. NOT TIRED. The thug said we were still the same old Bungles. Screw him and all of the Squeelers I hope the get pounded.

Rose colored glasses in Cincy these days.... I'm pretty sure he said they were going to play so physical that the Seahags would want to "tap out", take themselves out of the game aka quit. But spin it however you want.

I'm pretty sure he said they were going to play so physical that the Seahags would want to "tap out", take themselves out of the game aka quit. But spin it however you want.If Joey Porter really had such an innocent idea as "to make them take themselves out of the game" then why didn't he just say THAT? There is obviously more to his statements than just that, as made even more evident by Cowher's, "oh that's just Joey being Joey" bull crap. As Ox said, there is nothing to spin. ShulaSteakhouse
Yeah I don't know how someone "wears out" a player so that they're "too tired" to play. They do that when they're hit hard or hurt something or get dinged up."Sending players to the sidelines" is just a stupid thing to say - just say you're going to wear them out and hit them hard - instead he implies he's out to injure people.Just a stupid comment, ecspecially after a questionable hit tore up a QB's knee in the playoffs by one of your players. indybengalsfan72
I'll laugh my A$$ off if he is injured early in the game, or if gets ejected for letting his horse teeth get the best of him. Karma is a ****, and as Earl says..."Do good things and good things happen, do bad things and bad things happen to you"..Better start making a list Joey. JPW
To his credit Porter doesn't say anything about attempting to injure another player.Your splitting hairs ...Asked what he meant by “tap out,” Porter patted the top of his head with his hand — a sign that the player is tired or INJURED and wants to be taken out of the game.It is not reasonable to think that players are going to be too tired to play in the SuperBowl.
