Spain Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 Ofense, Rudi is going to have carry the load. Leblow is going to 4 in coverage. Rudi should have a great game. Palmer I think will be affected by the 4 in cover. However Remeber this is is second time seeing that D. Pitt. The pitt running backs should have a good day. Ben is going to have a bad day. They cant block Water boy and smith. They think with Staley out the third down guy(forget name) can stop the dynamic duo. They wont. Ben could have a horrible outing. Defense. Water boy could have agreat game. this line sucks. they have to double J smith. Water boy is going to be on Ben all day. (Big ben is the devil) someone in our secondary will get some pics. Pitt. Palamolo Will have help back there watch out for this boy. He is the real deal. Wouldnt suprise me with help if gets a couple of int. The steelers d line is going to have a test. If they play pass again Rudi is going to pound them. Special teams Tab Perry always has a good day. Just make it a duel between Perry and Randal El. Wild cards Chris Henry making those bombs when they load up on the run. If he doesnt this could be the key to the game. Heath Miller for pitt. If he can abuse the SS they can sutain drives. Keiwan will see that he doesnt do that to much. It will all be determined by what lebeau does. However it would be foolish to let Palmer in the no huddle rip you up. So if you shake it all up, what comes out Henry better catch the freaking ball or we will lose. IMHO Sp bengaldom who do you think is going to impact this game? Quote
NJ29 Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 Deltha and Tory. If we get any presssure on him whatsoever, we will force Ben into a mistake or few. Let's hope those mistakes are deep in his own territory. Quote
Stripes Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 I look for T.J. to have a huge game. He has been a clutch performer for the entire season, and come playoff time he might explode. I also expect Rudi to get plenty of the load. I expect similar numbers out of him as from the December 4th game... 20-25 carries, 90ish yards and maybe a touchdown or two. Quote
HoTbOy Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 I would say Carson if he doesn't throw any picks, I think he realizes against Pitt he needs to take care of the ball better, I also think the 2 Chris's, Henry and Perry will need to play a bigger role you know they are going to double Chad and i'm sure in some situations they would double TJ as well, Chris Herny can't dropped wide open TD's Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 I'm suprised how little the media has focused on the Ben vs Palmer match-up - two best young QB's in the league - whomever plays the best will win. Ben has the thumb issue still, and Kimo is hurting and may play sparingly. Perry and Henry need to be mistake free. The first pass Henry doesn't make an effort for, or drops, and I bench him for Walter the rest of the game! Quote
walshfan Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 I see Carson and Ben having good games...I see Heath Miller hurting the Bengals once again.I see Chris Perry coming back to form on dumpoffs or screens possibly.I see Ohalate having a devil of a time if Ward goes deep.I see Odell making some huge hits on runs up the middle providing one of the DT's can hold the blocks...I see the Bengals winning this shootout... Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 Deltha 2 picks.Housh BIG FREAKING HUGE MONSTER OF A DAY! Quote
duus Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 Few are talking about him because they think the Steelers will control him for a 3rd time (if "keeping him out of the endzone" is controlling) ... but I very much think you are going to see a very special day from Chad. This will be the 3rd time he has seen Ike Taylor, with help from Troy. My prediction? Chad gets round 3, and goes for 140 with 2 tds. Lock it in. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 Even if Chad comes up with a big day, I think TJ is the one who will have the most yards. Every time they double Chad, TJ gets the ball. He's solid as a rock.Oh, and as for Deltha, Big Bum's middle finger is the only one hurting when this is all over. Deltha will eat him alive. Quote
HoosierCat Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 The offensive line. First you have Big Willie and Iron Man, who've waited through endless years of Bungledom for this game. If Willie were to bodily pick up the first Steeler defender to come within reach, hoist him above his head, hurl him 10 yards downfield and then beat his chest like King Kong, I would not be surprised in the least.Levi has a bum shoulder, but he had his own helping of the bad times. I think if they cut off his arm he'd still go out and play. Steinbach has been playing well all year, as has the improved Bobby Williams. These guys are going to be a run-blocking, pass-protecting machine. And they'll be the reason we win.Unfortunately, I think they leave it all on the field this weekend, and there won't be much left for Denver... Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 OFFENSE= Carson and Housh will be huge. We will dominate the weak Squealer Secondary. Hopefully we will run up the score on those pansies to prove to our critics that we deserve to be here.DEFENSE- Odell Thurman will have a monster day with 15 tackles a sack and a pick. I just picture him doin great tom. He will prove he should of won DROY award. I See our D coming together and stopping the run. It will be a great day tom. Quote
Spain Posted January 8, 2006 Author Report Posted January 8, 2006 Thats not fair guys. Pitt will have some plays too. However this one is on Rudis shoulders. It s time for him to do it. If they play four in coverage we need to run the ball.com We shall see if Rudi can carry the load by himself. I was a Rudi down guy, I went up and now I just wonder? Quote
HairOnFire Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 They couldn't cover Chad a lick in the last game and I expect this one to be any different. That said, I think Housh holds the key to this game. He's got to exploit the middle of the Steelers defense and pressure the Steeler LB's. That should open up running room for Rudi. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Thats not fair guys. Pitt will have some plays too.Nope. The defense will be pitching their first shutout which shuts up their detractors across the country! Quote
derekshank Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 I'm not making any predicitions... but look for Chris Henry this game.Last time he had 5 receptions... and 3 of them were for big 1st downs. The Steelers weakness on D is their secondary... and Henry as a #3 is just way too much for them to handle.Also... I know a lot of people like Perry in this game. If he's 100% there were two passes knocked down at the line that probably would have been big TD's to Perry. I'm sure Brat will be looking to exploit that again. Quote
schweinhart Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 The Bengals will be the more physical team on both sides of the ball today.Odell is going to come to devastate anything that moves and Justin Smith should have his best game of the season. Ohalate should be ready to have a career game and the CBs will handle the Steelers average WRs. The defense knows about all the crap about how bad they've played the last half of the year and they know it's true. Time to correct it with their most focused, together effort. The Bengals power trio of Chad, Housh, and Rudi will do their thing but the difference is likely to come down to how Carson audibles and what personnel he has on the field to begin with. I'm leaning toward K-Dub even though Henry is clearly a better WR and I think the Bengals will get burned if they use Chris Perry too much against the Steelers 3-4 and blitz overloads. The unlikely big game performers for this one should be among the unsung ones -- JJ, Walter, Reggie Kelly, Schobel, Stewart, Tab Perry....one or more of these guys will have to produce yards on some plays to keep the Steelers D on its heels and the chains moving. Quote
Michigan Bengal Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 I think Carson and TJ will have big games, getting first downs and going deep for some TD's. The defense will have to come up big and shut down Ben R. for us to win this game. Quote
CT Stiller Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Nope. The defense will be pitching their first shutout which shuts up their detractors across the country!I'll just put this post in my back pocket for after the game. The arrogance on this board from a good majority of the posters is astounding. I keep hearing that us Steeler fans are the most arrogant in the league. Although if you look at the Steelers message boards you see a lot of posters being concerned with this game. You don't see that a lot here. It doesn't mean squat to the outcome of the game, but hey, practice what you preach for crying out loud. Quote
walshfan Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 I think Chris Henry could very well have a big game if he goes ALL OUT..I dont want to see those alligator arms from him like in the last game.he was clearly thinking of the hit his was about to embark on and he didnt stretch those long ass arms out far enough preferring to protect the ribs instead...This is THE GAME... He has got to give it his all and even risk injury if it comes to that... Hopefully Marvin has taken care of that ....Chris Perry has had a couple long gains called back due to penalties. He is a game breaker.. Yeah he gets stoppped sometimes juking but when he makes the correct cut he can pick up Big yardage and Im looking to see him do that today when he gets in there.. Quote
Spain Posted January 8, 2006 Author Report Posted January 8, 2006 Tab Perry is the best in the leauge!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch. Quote
Spain Posted January 11, 2006 Author Report Posted January 11, 2006 sorry for the double thought i would drag this up to disporve I hate water boy rumors. Quote
