I think it goes to Tab Perry. He came up with good return after good return, and his 94 yarder was very clutch in answering the Steelers dominating scoring drive. But you could easily give it to anyone else, and Marvin Lewis is the coach of the year I think, because he has done magical things with much less talent, especially on the defensive side than the Colts. Either way, GO BENGALS!!!!

I think its great that there is no clear cut player that stood out today. Everybody stepped up their game and pulled out a win. But, I'm gonna have to give it to T.J. He had that amazing catch in the first quarter for the TD and he had a lot of big catches on 3rd downs to keep our drives going. But, Tab is a verry close second.

The whole team gets from me. Carson, Rudi, the O-LINE, REC.,DEFENSE HELD when it had to.(remember they were playing at a tough home field),Special teams rocked and they coaches al did their job today. :bengal:

I vote Tab Perry. The shortfield he gave the Bengals was crucial, plus he did his part in coverage.

The offense was a juggernaut and Brat gets credit for letting Palmer run the No Huddle and supplying his own stroke of genius by using Reggie Kelly as a fullback for Rudi's lead blocking for much of the 1st half.

Rudi ran like the warrior that he is today.

I picked "Other" because there was no selection for the Cincinnati Bengals Offensive Line, and the GREAT job they did protecting Carson (just 1 sack, and that was more coverage than anything else.) and blowing open HUGE holes for Rudi that established a solid running game so they couldn't sit on the pass. The running game was non-existant for Cincy in the first meeting this season!

I agree, it probably has to go to Tab, he finally busted the big one...but HUGE props to TJ for wrestling that ball away on that 1st TD. That easily couldve been an INT but he was having none of that. I'm gonna feel great tomorrow walking through Pittsburgh with a grin on my face and seeing the all dirty yinzers depressed...f**k yea!

Odell had a great game but the game ball goes to TAB PERRY. He gave us great field position all game, and handed us a TD with his 94 yard return. What a steal he was.

There were a lot of deserving players though: Palmer, Marvin, TJ, Rudi, O-line, Odell.

C'mon, DPM, don't you remember? It can't be Tab Perry, he was the worst draft pick ever and someone needed to get Mike Brown out of the draft room...

Heh. That almost never gets old...

My vote went to Rudi for shoving the ball right down the Steelers' throats time and time again. A close second to Tab Perry. Marvin gets my season game ball.

Also, a message to Tab, I whole heartedly apologize for my preseason pimping of Cliff Russell, and hope to see you in stripes a long time!

 Hilarious. Speak of the devil, heres the guy who made that post:

First choice: offensive line

Second choice: Housh. Seemed like every catch was for a new set of downs or for a TD

Sounds like Mike Brown finally got one right eh TJ?

I think the media is primed for Lovie Smith to get coach of the year, but it will probably depend on how the respective teams do in the playoffs. Granted, Chicago has had an even easier schedule than the Bengals (I think), but they came from even farther down than the Bengals.

The Bears were 13-3 in 2001 and made the playoffs. And like Coughlin in NY. The Giants were 12-4 and made the Super Bowl in 2000. So these two teams haven't been down for long.

It's a different case here. The Bengals have come from much further back. They were basically like an expansion team after 2002 and they have been completely rebuilt.

I think Marvin should win hands down.

I agree, though I doubt it will happen. I think it'll be same ol' crap "the coach of the best team must be the best coach." Dungy will win this award, and Marvin will finish 2nd. The Same thing happened in 2003 when Marvin finished 2nd only to Bill Bellichick.
