Irvin arrested on outstanding warrant

BTW, isn't the ESPN studios in Conneticut. How'd he get to Texas so fast?

Hmm. That's a good question. :crack: A really good question! Probably a combination of things I suppose. First you'd need a exceptionally fast car, and Micheal Irvin LOVES a sweet Mercedes Benz!

Then knowing every short cut not shown on any map is probably a big time saver too! To make sure he gets to Texas P.D.Q. without getting D.P.S. on his A.S.S., he might use a system to avoid detection.

A little "No-Doze" to avoid drowsiness:

Drink plenty of liquids:

Some healthy herbal snacks:

and before you know it, you've reached Texas!

But don't forget, that's where his anonymous "friend" here lives:

You know! The one he was helping when this unfortunately happened:

Now people are accusing Micheal unfairly because to protect this poor addict, he can't give his name out due to uh...to keep his pal safe from the uh...some people who might...

Well that's not what's important here dammit!! No matter what the personal consequences are to Micheal, even having his career as a network analyst ruined for taking the rap for trying to help this guy is not enough to make Micheal divulge his name!

:rolleyes: Yeah...sure. :lol::lmao:

ESPN even said that this happened at half time of the huge Saints and Jets game. <_<

He released a statement for Sportscenter on the issue. He said it was a pipe that belonged to his friend that had been visiting the family for Thanksgiving, and Irvin had been trying to counsel him on it because he doesn't want all that around his kids. I think that is a believable story, but who knows.

ESPN said he'd still be coming to work, even tonight for Monday Night Countdown.

Unbelieveable, Scott is interviewing Irvin on ESPN about the incident. They reach new heights every day.

I just saw that, I was amazed. I can't believe ESPN would have him sit there in front of the entire country and explain this crap. My respect for Michael Irvin just skyrocketed. I believe him.

I can't figure this guy out. Last night he called them "my Bengals" on the Monday night show and had them ranked in the top 5. I am speechless.

Man, this only indicates to me that the dude is STILL high! He has never talked good about the Bengals! <_<

What th... You actually buy his story? You must have fallen off the turnip truck yesterday. Every cop in the country has heard that one over and over. Every episode of cops has at least four people in it saying the very same thing!

Yeah I figured I'd take some heat for my post, and you very well might be right. It's all speculation. I like to think people are innocent until proven guilty, though that may be naive. :P

His facial expressions, the embarassed look he had to him on the show, I thought it was convincing. Could have certainly been part of the act, but I have no reason to think so yet.

As far as the Cops reference... ... But still... Those wife beater wearing drunks don't really formulate stories that good... More like "That b**** stiffed me my 20 bucks when I sold her my crack!"
