AMC
playing 4 of 6 on the road and being 5-1 is unreal. i don't care who you play, winning on the road in the nflis no easy task. Thats all that needs to be said!!!! Yes, we are winning on the road... Big come playoff time...As for sunday, we will have to play absolutely mistake free and get turnovers....and as for the division, don't take any team lightly, not the browns , not the ravens....in response to a comment above....Win and the Bengals are 6-1. Lose and the Bengals are 5-2. How in any way does 5-2 show that the Bengals are going to miss the playoffs??? What the hell is wrong with you people? Why are you so ignorant and pessimistic? Also, I hope that Big Ben is NOT healthy next week. He's much better than Maddox, and who cares about excuses? A win is a win.yeah, I don't want to hear any of this "lose and our season is done" crap!!!!!! Lose and we still lead the division...win and we are in command, but in no way have we sown it up..... Stripes
I don't think we'll have sewn up the division even with a win. There is still a ton of football to be played. We have to prove that we can play 5-1 caliber football for a full 16 game season. I think we can do that, but one of the hurdles will have to be getting through our biggest division rival. If we prove to ourselves that we are capable of beating them, then imagine the confidence they will be playing with for the rest of the season. This is a big game. I won't call it a must win, but the advantages of winning far outweigh the disadvantages of losing.I don't think I could bear to watch another Bengals home loss to Pittsburgh, so let's get it done! Wraith
With Green Bay (home) and Baltimore (away) left before the break, and rumor of a Benless Steelers coming here for week 7, how big does the Indy game look?I think this will be Cincy's statement game. We lost two close ones to Pitt last year, the team knows Pittsburgh backwards and forwards. We have the hottest QB in the NFL right now, TJ will most certainly be back, so we will be completely healthy. I see a 35-17 beating, and yes I am a homer, and no I haven't lost all my senses. Stripes
Bengals open as 3 point favorites... That really surprises me. I figured the line would be under 3 in favor of Pittsburgh. I hope we live up to that.
HoosierCat
Bengals open as 3 point favorites... That really surprises me. I figured the line would be under 3 in favor of Pittsburgh. I hope we live up to that. I was figuring it'd be a pick 'em. But I was actually surprised to find a line at all; thought they would wait until later in the week when Cheeslisburger's status becoomes clearer. Columbusbengal
TJ will most certainly be back, so we will be completely healthy. Are we sure TJ will be back? I haven't heard that. Also, we don't know who else might not have come out of the game healthy.
kingwilly
If our crack medical staff is involved, TJ will have never see the field-turf again! All kidding aside, it would be a real shame to have to beat the Squealers without TJ.Either way, we win.Bengals 34 - Pit
PMThor
that 3 point line is totally based on home field advantage AND the fact that Ben is still uncertain. It is still subject to change, if Ben is scratched, then the line could jump huge. But since that won't happen and he will hang in limbo until gametime, the line should probably stay right where it is. Unless I bet 100 on the Bengals, then the line will skyrocket. Like it always does for me. I am up for tailgating tonight. Who is with me? Screw it, I will be at Longworth drinking by myself if I have to be. HoosierCat
I expect Cheeselisburger to play. Per the Pitt media, he was all but begging Cowher to put him in Sunday, and he did take some snaps in practice late last week. The only real question is whether the injury cuts into his mobility; if so that could be big, since he makes a lot of plays on rollouts and with his feet. Still...stopping the Steelers run game will be job one.
bengalboomer7
This game may not win the division for us, but it has a huge impact on it. You just gotta win division games at home, period. Win this week and we are more than in the driver seat for the division(and maybe fighting for homefield) lose this game and we have to start peeking at the wildcard standings later. duus
Listening to the local sports talk show here in Pittsburgh, and they have said that Rottenburger will definitely go next week ... according to a reporter, those are Ben's words to him. Oh, and did you hear Big Ben's 'small' comment?"it wouldn't have ended up like it did if I was out there." - Ben Roethlisberger told Jacksonville linebacker Mike Peterson after the game.Yeah, way to be a team guy there, Mr. Rottenburger! Go Bengals!
membengal
He's not wrong though. Maddox was horrendous.
duus
Not wrong, to be sure. Very small to say it ... let alone saying to the opponent. Sad. Sad.
The Big Orange
If I had my wish, it would be that our Keanu Reeves or Calvin Clein or whatever the hell the kids are calling Kaesveharn these days would finish Ben off.Kevin, pay attention...Step One: Locate their somewhat beat up line and come flying in on a passing play.Step Two: Take one booster step off of Robinson's backside (don't worry, he's got plenty to spare) and hurl yourslef up and over obese yellow and black fellows.Step Three: Land and lunge in a sort of a "I've lost my balance and I can't stop my momentum" kind of a motion toward the cocky QB with a small penis(no proof of this...it's just a circulating rumor on a yahoogroups.com forum from somebody he allegedly paid for a hand job-aparently her hands were too big) and garlicky odor.Step Four: With helmet down, make sure his leg is planted in the field turf-perferably the same one he already injured and push through the knee. The first pop is just a sprain...continue pushing, the second pop is the good one.Do this in the later part of the game after he has been intercepted thrice and lost the game for them so he can suffer the humiliation of the defeat on his shoulders. Unfortunately this will take him out of the 2nd game with us as well, however we will need Maddux in their so we can get 7 sacks and further pad our stats to ensure numerous Bengals defensive pro bowl winners. HairOnFire
Pittsburgh? I couldn't care less about this game. In fact, I think this is a perfect time to go on vacation. Freaking ^%#@*& vacation.
San Antonio Bengal
Unfortunately I have to leave town on a business trip on Sunday. If I'm lucky I'll be getting into my room right before the end of the game.

Kazkal
I predict Bengals 21Steelers 14It will be tied 14-14 with 2minutes left big ben will be driving the ball down on us then boom throws his first inception to o'neal who runs it back to the 5ard line then runs it out ,bengals pound it and get it to the 1 then a 1yard pass to matt schobel this is how the game will end I swear
San Antonio Bengal
Bengals 23Steelers 22Game will be 22 - 20 Steelers and Shanye hits a 50-yard FG as time expires.
The Big Orange
Hey does anybody remember where that MVP and ROY watch was...I was just wondering if Carson and Odell were back on top.I'm ready for some power rankings and picks if anybody knows where those are...I'm also in the mood for some buttery grits, if you're in the neighborhood
Columbusbengal
Orange,Please don't encourage the deliberate injuring of opponents. One thing I like is that the Bengals are NOT the Oakland Raiders or Denver Broncos. If you can't win without injuring the other players, you aren't a good team.PS. I actually assume you were kidding, but I still like to reiterate that we don't really favor this in case fans of other teams who don't know you are reading our posts.
