walshfan
Warrick was fifth on seattle's depth chart on a unit not as deep as ours...When will fans get it thru their head that Warrick is not the same player since his injury.. membengal
This is why we should NOT have cut Peter Warrick.Um, Warrick still cannot get on the field in Seattle, and that is with Engram and Darrell Jackson out with injury.Damn you, inconsiderate facts. USMC203
Ok I got it,let me put my crack pipe down!! Set Walters and bring in R. Ghent. When I was off the crack in the pre season I think I saw Ghent do some good things across the middle and I watched him during summer camp, he seem to be a all around player. That way we could use him at FB also and with Johnson & Johnson just wear the D line and the LB's out!!!!!!!! then we could let C. Perry do the rest. Ok, tell Marvin to hire me as a WIZARD in Game planning.

He is simply not getting a chance. His one catch in a game up there went for over 40 yards.I agree with Bax, the Bengals' were too quick to cut Warrick, and it had everything to do with $ as usual here. I also thought KW looked just fine last week.Walter has disappeared since his impressive preseason, I think Warrick at this point would be a better option at WR than KW or Walter on passing downs. I think that has less to do with Walter, and more to do with the fact that Carson is finding open people before he gets to Walter in his progressions. The passing game should not be a problem this week. It wasn't why we lost to Jacksonville, and it won't be a problem against a much more suspect defense. HoosierCat
I think Warrick had a 7 yard grab last week but he was fighting a groin tweak. He's not listed on Seattle's injury report this week, tho, so I suspect he'll have his chances.Whether letting Warrick go turns out to have been a mistake remains to be seen. But several people, including yours truly, pointed out that we didn't have a clear slot replacement if TJ got injured or turned out to be a one-year wonder.Personally, I continue to think that Schobel and C. Perry remain good options as slot receivers. Wallter seems boom-or-bust. Kwash might have an opportunity to claw his way back in, can he take advantage of it, tho? jjakq27
Does anybody remember seeing a play that could sideline TJ Yes, TJ caught a pass at about the Texans 25 and got up holding his hand in the third or fourth quarter of that game. I am not sure if he played much after that. Last week, Dave Lapham mentioned that TJ had gotten all four fingers bent back on that play. I am not sure if he landed on it then or if someone else did. But he said that TJ couldn't get his glove on that hand last week due to the swelling and that he might have been better of breaking it. I am guessing that they will keep him out and get him ready for the Steelers game.
The Big Orange
Shouldn't have cut Warrick??? You my friend are out of your bloody gourd...if he was worth the lasting stench of a burito fart he would've been used by now by the receiver needy Seahawks. He wasn't cut for money as much as he couldn't hold Walter's jock strap. All 5 of our receivers will end up with more yards than him...and I'm not a Kelley(Barbie's little sister) Washington fan at all. But P-dribble was over due for the scrap pile. His only catch of the year was such a collasal screw up by the defense that I could have rolled out and caught that the day after my stomach got stapled. He couldn't make it in the Canadian league. Only if he commits a serious crime might the Ravens be interested.
kingwilly
Bax you are nizzuts. Keep Warrick..... stupifying.....If anything this is why they should have Tab get some reps in the slot OR bring up Broussard if TJ's injury persists.Begs the question of who sits/gets cut.....can anyone say Oompa? HoosierCat
Per Hobson, TJ has been downgraded to doubtful.

Stripes
I'm glad they're keeping him out. I want him at 100% against the Burgh. Tennessee should still be very beatable without him.
BengalszoneBilly
All of this is just very unfortunate, but do you want to know what the worst thing about it is?It's ABSOLUTELY KILLING ME in one of my fantasy football leagues!! buck3y3d
I must say, that this is the most impressive fantasy team ever created:http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/172658/3I lost a game, b/c of the poor Offensive showing against the Bears

Jonboat
People are talking about Chris Henry replacing Housh, and he can't do it. Not that he's bad - it's just that he's more of a CJ type. He's a down the field guy, not a "find the hole in the zone" guy.We need more of a possession receiver to replace Housh. It's not Henry. It's not "Butterfingers and Alligator Arms" Washington. It's not Schobel. And running Perry out of the backfield helps, but it doesn't completely solve the problem (especially for throws in the 10-15 yard range). Can Walter step it up again and stop with the penalties? Don't know about that. Hope so, because he's the sort of receiver who fits the mold if he can get it together. I couldn't agree more. Walter seems to have no fear & catches everything thrown to himWe need Doc Kremchek for our team Doc these guy's seem to be freaking idoits ie. Perry, P-dub
