Ox
Judging from the hype of Chris Henry, no he won't. I'm going to vote a big negatory.
MacD BengalFan
I hate to be picky, but which KW are you refering to? Kelly Washington or Kevin Walter. If it is Kelly Washington, I say no, he will not be active because of Chris Henry. Chris seems to be getting more attention then Kelly which could mean Kelly may be on the way out at the end of this season. He showed promise, but never fullfilled it. kingwilly
My bad. K-Washington.
Stripes
I don't thnk there's any way Washington is activated. Henry has played too well.
jbx182
i don't think kelly will play much this year. he's awful good, but ch is signed for 5 yrs and kw is a rfa next off-season.
HoosierCat
IMHO it kind of depends on who is in and who is out. If they chooose to rest, say, Willie and Madieu and have the opportunity to keep 6 receivers active...fine. But if it's a question of Kwash vs. Henry...no way you can sit Henry the way he's been playing.

Still, I bet Marvin would rather keep depth in the secondary and/or on the offensive line. We have so many good receivers, our chances or winning don't really increase or decrease much by playing Henry over Washington or vice versa. HairOnFire
I'm guessing he sits. Nothing has changed, right? If they go heavy at a position I'd guess it will be an extra offensive lineman.

Agreed. I bet Stacey Andrews gets some big time reps if we have a big lead.
DC_Bengals_Fan
OK, so assuming Henry keeps playing reasonably well...has Washington played his last game as a Bengal? Surely they'd give him a bit more of a chance to show something this year. I mean, as everyone points out, Henry's played better, but KW can't show otherwise if he's inactive every week.Admittedly, he looked like crap in wk 1. Agreed, but if Henry stays hot, then I don't think they'd want to risk removing him in favor of a player that is known for underachievement. Washington still has all the same potential he once did, but so does Henry. I'm honestly not sure Marvin is interested in a fully fair competition. I don't think Washington has played his last game as a Bengal, but his days are certainly numbered.
redsbengalsbucks
As long as the WR's keep playing as they are, KW is not going to see playing time, but an injury to any of the five above him and Washington may surprise a few people with what he is capable of. bengalfreek
Washington will get a chance at some point this season due to injury. There's very little chance that all five WR's in front of him stay healthy all the way, this being the NFL. He better put up when he gets the chance, because his window is infinitely small. TJJackson
IMHO -- barring injury to one of the other receivers, KW will never be activated in 2005.BTW, should this be correct, does this mean KW doesn't earn a "year" credit towards becoing a RFA and eventually UFA? Jonboat
The way Henry is playing I dont' see why we couldn't try to trade KW. Maybe GB would be interested they need a receiver. I'd like to see them at least get a draft pick instead of just letting him walk next year.
Stripes
After how Henry played TODAY, I think there's no doubt that KW is done. He was a half inch from catching a touchdown bomb, and still compiled 34 yards anyways. This kid is the real deal.
