walshfan
Im not sold on the Bears defensive line....good yes but we've faced better lines than this..their backfield is questionable ..Tillman can be burnt and the safety Harris takes bad angles..Brown is a cruncher but at 5'9" can be outjumped in the redzone pretty easy...Our offense should have its way barring turnovers...Bengals 27 Bears 13...... ArmyBengal
I'll pick the shutout and go 24-0 Bengals. I'm serious by the way, not just because I'm being a homer, but that's what I truly believe to be the fact. No issues going 3-0... WHODEY !!! BengalNation1281
I put it down once before, but Bengals 28, Bears 13. Palmer might not throw for alot of yards, but Rudi will open things up just enough to let the passing game do its work.I have alot of respect for the Bears D, but far more respect for our offense. So the bengals will be doing this and Orton will look like this while I am doing this And just because I want to add it to this post WHO DEY
NJ29
Bengal 27, Bears 10. And umm... ...Just because it's the craziest smily I've ever seen.
shatan
All the bears fans keep saying is Cincinnati hasn't faced a good defence yet. this yr yes, but last yr we scored alot of points against alot of good "d"'s. here is a nice little article on the subject from FOXSportsBengals at Bears: Shocked by Carson Palmer's hot start? You shouldn't be. Palmer threw 18 TD passes and completed 60.8% of his passes last season despite playing some of the toughest defenses in the NFL: the Steelers twice, the Ravens twice, the Redskins, Bills, Broncos, and Patriots. Had he faced an average schedule in 2004, he could easily have thrown for over 3,000 yards and over 20 TDs. (((p.s. palmer missed last 3 games, add 850 yd's and 5 TD's and he exceeds both)))Palmer has improved since last season, but two weakling defenses have made him look even better. He'll face his first true test this week: opposing QBs have an efficiency rating of just 37.1 against the Bears. Yes, those quarterbacks were Mark Brunell, Patrick Ramsey, and Joey Harrington, but the point holds true: the Bears defense is good.Still, a few touchdowns and an average Palmer performance should be enough to beat the Bears, notwithstanding the 38 points they dropped on the Lions last week. Unlike the Lions, the Bengals won't allow Thomas Jones to average over seven yards per carry, and they won't allow the Bears to start their average drive on the 41-yard line. redsfan2
I'm thinking in the 28 to 31 range for the Bengals and 10 for the Bears. Bears defense will most likely get them the ball in pretty good field position for a field goal, and special teams will do the same that along with a Cincy penalty will result in the Bears only td of the game.Biggest surprise coming out of the game and the topic of a lot of discussion will be the Bengals defense handling of the Bears offense ...... That the Bengals offense drops more td's on the Bears defense in the first half than they've given up in both the previous games .... will surprise no one. * note to the O line ..... keep blocking for and watching over Palmer till the whistle blows to guard against the late hit as the defense gets frustrated. BengalszoneBilly
All the bears fans keep saying is Cincinnati hasn't faced a good defence yet.Is that what "Duh Bears" fans are saying? The defenses the Bengals offense have previously faced were comparitively better then the offenses "Duh Bears" defenses faced in those same weeks.
