There is a hunger for more in Bengaldom.

<--- Also sold. You wont hear any complaining from me. (Unless we start sucking ;))

We have a great offense, and an opportunistic defense. We can go far this year with that.

In fact ill go even further, check the av. ;)

WHAT?!?

I'm sold as well. If we keep playing like this, I don't see a game on the schedule we don't have a legit chance of winning. Realistically, I think we're looking at 12-4...I think we sweep the Ratbirds this year.

Carson Palmer is one of the best Quarterbacks in the league, already. The outlook for this season, with this offense, is very very very good.

 Dang Marvin...is your grin big enough, or do you have that device still stuck in your mouth that dentists use while cleaning your teeth? Geeze dude, you're going to hurt yourself!

**Edit...You saw my post in the other thread, didn't you DPM? It's all good bro. Especially when our Bengals sit at 2-0!

As of right now, I agree. This has the look of a 12-4 or better football team.

Before I am willing to commit to such an expectation, I want to see us continue dominating these cupcakes (two more of them on the way the nest two weeks) and I want a strong win in Jacksonville.

The possibility of being undefeated for a long time is as good as that of any other team in the league.

Here's to hoping we hand the Bears their buttoxes next week, and the Steelers eat dirt against the Patriots.

It's not like we need to worry about the Ravens or Browns. ;)

We agree on everythign except the Bears being cupcakes. I wouldn't call them that...should we win, hell yeah. But, they are tough at home and they have a very good defense. They could prove to be a pretty good test.

What whodey said. Bears are NOT cupcakes. And, considering it is a road game, I would not be surprised to see this game hit the board as a push or with the Bears slightly favored.

There are NO gimme road games in the NFL, and especially against a team with as solid a D as the Bears have.

De Ja Vu anyone?

Anyone care to remember the last season we went 2-0?

I'm lovin' it, don't get it twisted, but we need to stay focused.

I'm sure Coach Lewis is thinking the same thing.

Blowout or not, 15-or-however-many-penalties-they-had isn't acceptable.

Chicago's Defense has been looking REAL impressive.

Let's not be cocky/niave and think we'll just waltz in there house and start shutting s**t down.

It's great to be a Bengals fan today! Our team played great. I believe that all those worries about Carson in the preseason are erased. I can't wait to see this team play every week. We have all the momentum in the world, keep it up! One thing that needs to stop and I'm sure Mavin will address it all week... Penalties. Other than that, great game today. I wish i could've been in the jungle for that one. WHO DEY!

Guys a great win no doubt, but be prepared for a let down it is coming. Not sure it will be the Bears, but our first loss is just around the corner. Fun game, the guys did wonderful today. Just remember we caught both the Browns and the Vikes at vulnerable times. The Vikes looked horrible, a couple of plays and the Browns coulda beat us last week. Keep it in perspective but enjoy it while we can!

I loved this game. I couldn't stop smiling and making "Woot, woot" noises all night at work. But, the Bears are solid, and the Bengals HAVE to fix the penalty problem, and not silly mistakes.

Also, the Vikes suck. Culpepper is a kid lost in the mall without Randy Moss, and the defense hasn't gelled. As much as the Bengals handed it to 'em, the Bears might be their first real test because they have a D that can and will make up any rookie mistakes by Orton. Plus, it's in Soldier Field, one of the tougher places to play, in my opinion.

Either way....WHO FREAKIN DEY, BABY!!! Today was one of the best in awhile, and I can't wait til next week!

Last time we were 2-0 was in 01 and every one remember the hype surronding the 3rd game in San Diego against the Chargers. The ESPN crew had done features on the Bengals and the Chargers and everything was hyped, the Bengals had beaten the Pats and the Ravens.

Then crash the Chargers laid a whoopin on us and the Bengals never recovered that year.

With that said, the Bengals should beat the Bears, the Bears have a great D, but they have not seen an Offense like Cincy this year. The Bengals have a lot of weapons. I expect the Bears to score, but the Bengals should be 4-0 heading to Jacksonville.

I don't count anything that happens in the NFC north this year, because they all suck. As such, I'm judging the Bears by their offensive effort against Washington, which was a joke. As such, I'm figuring that 20 points should be more than enough to beat them. If the Bears are contenders, it's only because 6-10 could take their division.

I expect the Bears to score as well. Once. Probably after Carson's weekly interception, with a FG.

 If it wasn't for Philly and Carolina, I'd say that would possibly get you the Conference title to boot! I'm sorry, but comparatively...the NFC just ain't got game. <_<

I think the NFC will be at least margnally improved this year. Philly and Atlanta both look excellent. Carolina has potential to be very good, as does Dallas. The New York Giants could surprise people too.

It will still certainly be the lesser of the two conferences, but not so putrid as 2004, in my opinion.
