The Big Orange
It sounds like D Oneal is excited to get back to playing with Tory and returning some punts too. I like his attitude and if he can stay healthy and keep this fire he may go back to the pro bowl...but back to offense...say it ain't so D. I thought that's why he wanted to get out of Denver, because Shanapanties made him cross over. Did i read that wrong...and good luck competing against our WR lineup. ArmyBengal
Yep, you read it right...Asked if he wants to return punts this year, O'neal said, "Definitely, I want to play some offense too." I don't think there is a rats chance in hell ML will have this guy doing anything but CB. If he does, it won't be anywhere but the D, not the other side of the ball. IMHO.WHODEY !!! The Big Orange
I agree, and with the new article on Warrick on Bengals.com it looks like Hobbes is doing the same thing with him as he just did with Hardy...publish some positive press to see if there are any last minute takers and then let the ax swing. Another fine use of the press...pump someone who is already quite full of themselves a little fuller before you pop their bubble and watch them die. I wouldn't rule that out, but it's not the way I'd bet. I'm guessing that Warrick will return this season and then be allowed to move on after the draftees have had a chance to learn the playbook and get coached up a bit on how the plays are to run. In a nutshell, if Warrick can go...he stays.

TJJackson
Big Orange: Please stop posting the disturbing images at the end of your posts.I am all for freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of speech....but why exactly does it need to be expressed here, on a set of forums that are supposed to be about the Bengals?I check this site from work and would prefer not to have images of naked fat guys on my screen as coworkers come to ask me about something or my boss comes over to give me an assignment, etc etc. That said, no, I am not a mod here and am asking merely as a fellow forum reader and poster. The Big Orange
Alright, I'm sorry...I'll try to not put such disturbing images out there...but a man's gotta image a little...I'll just try not to embaress you in fornt of the boss...or kids. HairOnFire
So I guess I'm the only one here who'll admit that he's going to miss the picture of the naked fat guy?
BDDFC
I think the pick is a fake, a hollywood special effect. It's the avaitor that disturbs me.
The Big Orange
Of course the picture is a fake , you goof ball, so is Star Wars, but I'll be watching it...hey, I can't help the way I look...that's how God (with Domino's help) made me...that hurts. Back to Warrick, I think he's dealt with the whole Housch thing like I baby. I wish it would fire him up and see some fire and hunger to play for the position, the game, and the team he loves. I haven't seen any of that...the fire has almost gone out in him...he's not at all a ML kind of guy.
JPW
I think that was just O'neal's way of saying that he is ready and eager to play ...I don't think that the team really knows if Warrick can be ready or not. They just wanted to be sure that they were covered either way. When healthy, Warrick is one of the best slot receivers in the NFL and is a big plus for our offense.Especially so, if don't get one of our TE to "step-up-their-play" this year.If he can show that he is "back" in the preseason, he Stays at least for this year. NJ29
Oh my lord Big O, where in hell do you find a picture of a human pancake? :player:
Ickeyshuffler
Yup, I gotta go with TJ on this one. I am often at work or school musing over some Bengals debate and just like w/ the mostly-nude ladies others had posted before I always have to scroll really fast through those pics or else have my boss, a professor, etc. glance over and wonder what the hell I'm doing. Granted, I really don't care otherwise but I'd rather not worry about it at all.Oh, and I'm not sure the reactions to the avatar have anything to do with you -- it's most likely the specific pose...just a guess I'm always surprised at how creative people get with the internet. I'm at the early end of this so-called technology/web generation and I've no clue how to do much of anything on here except write.

membengal
Really, perhaps we need to stop taking the excited comments of Bengals' players literally. After the season, CJ said (CLEARLY kidding) that he wanted to go to NFL Europe to work on some stuff. (And, in the off-chance that CJ was somehow serious, the chances of ML letting him do that were roughly about the same as ML letting me line-up at SS this year and bring my 5'9 220 pounds of mid-30s 7.3 speed to the line-up). O'Neal is eager to get the season started. That's the story. He basically said he will do whatever is needed to help the team win. I like that. Good attitude. But, no, again, I think a better chance of me playing S than O'Neal wasting reps in practice away from his home CB position to try and get ahead of, say, Warrick/Henry/Washington/Perry/Walters/Broussard in the WR rotation behind CJ and Housh. schweinhart
O'Neal is the Bengals Pro Bowl CB this year. He would've had an excellent shot last year if it weren't for Marquand Manuel blowing his block on the pre-season Deltha PR that got O'Neal injured.O'Neal is better than Chump Bailey. :player:
