BengalszoneBilly Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 Ooh. Like I didn't see that one coming! Quote
Kirkendall Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 None of the Seattle papers are saying anything yet. There's still hope! Quote
membengal Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 I have Insider access, went there, and there is ZERO on this. Not saying it has not happened, but your authority for it having happened is not there.Try again. And, if it does come to pass, it will just be a regular old link available to everyone, it won't be a secret that Sharper is off the market... CTBengalsFan Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 yea I don't have insider but I still see that link to the insider article that is titled "Sharper headed to Cincinnati?" Quote
Kirkendall Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 I think he's talking about this: "Sharper mulls Seahawks offer"Which is located here http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/football/219574_hawk11.html Quote

I'd say wait a bit and see if he has something we've missed. I just don't see it on any of the wires so I'm skeptical -- but you know the Bengals too, we have to hear it a majority of the time from Lenny P. if the Bengals sign someone! Quote

I just checked sportsline.com, the Seahawks website, bengals.com, espn.com (main and NFL and insider), si.com and foxsports.com and am seeing nothing. Quote
HoosierCat Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 As far as I can tell, it hasn't happened yet. Probably will...but not yet.Did see a note while bumping around saying the Ravens signed ex-Ram LB Polley. So if they ever were in the Sharper hunt they are out now. Quote
Kirkendall Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 At least Sharper and Rudi have something in common -- 15,255 threads with their name in it. Quote
