ArmyBengal Posted May 5 Report Posted May 5 I thought it was the 14th. Neither here nor there to be honest. Nothing more than seeing if and when they have primetime games. I really don't care about the rest for the most part. Quote
Stripes Posted May 5 Report Posted May 5 Just ready to see who gets two free wins with the 0-2 start. Quote
AMPHAR Posted May 5 Report Posted May 5 I hope they start the season off with the two toughest road games. If they are going to use the first two weeks as preseason then get the hard road games that are likely to be losses out of the way. @Clev @Balt. Quote

I’ve never been to Europe so why not tie my one visit to the most American thing possible- a football game. Quote
Stripes Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 I visited Madrid once when I was stationed in the UK. It's well worth a visit. The Prado Museum is really cool. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Tuesday at 12:36 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 12:36 PM Took the family over about 5 or so years back and have been wanting to go back again with them. I spent time in Barcelona and always loved the vibe of that city. I played soccer in the Army while stationed in Germany and got to travel quite a bit with that. They sure do love their soccer over there and that made it even more fun. Being so close to the Mediterranean Sea, the food was amazing. Anyway, I was hoping for the Munich game last year and would give this consideration for sure. Quote

Eh, all those replacement Lumina parts are made in China these days. Someone’s gotta pay the tariffs and it ain’t gonna be Mike. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Tuesday at 05:45 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 05:45 PM Once upon a time not long ago, the Bengals reworking deals was as rare as the unicorn. Players long past their prime still getting paid, because of loyalty to the players. It was one of the ways they were able to attract free agents looking for one last pay day. Even if their play fell off, old Mikey was going to stay true to his word. Even if to the detriment of the team. It's almost like being a real front office dare I compare. Quote

Hopefully no surprise stories. With that said: Lucas Patrick opened up as the starter for RG at voluntaries. 1 Quote

Yeah, I'm good with that as well. He might have a two cent head, but him and DK together was interesting. Then again, no one is sure who the QB is so there's that as well. Quote
COB Posted Wednesday at 01:35 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 01:35 PM Pickens will need a full size moving truck to haul all his red flags with him down to Dallas. it really is perplexing how Jerry Jones can’t figure anything out. Pickens is an absolute cancer and I’m sorry to see him leave the Steelers. Quote
AMPHAR Posted Wednesday at 02:48 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 02:48 PM Sorry to see him go. He was a time bomb with DK and a questionable QB situation getting close to contract time. Quote

HoosierCat Posted Thursday at 01:32 PM Author Report Posted Thursday at 01:32 PM Morrison wonders why Pratt is still on the roster. https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/what-is-going-on-with-the-cincinnati-bengals-and-linebacker-germaine-pratt-01jtp19t8p30 I agree with his conclusion, that the Bengals are holding on to him in hopes of some event that makes a team come offer a pick or something. But if nothing materializes, he will get cut. Quote
HoosierCat Posted Thursday at 01:37 PM Author Report Posted Thursday at 01:37 PM Also I see the media is fussing over Trey again. https://www.cincyjungle.com/2025/5/7/24425786/trey-hendrickson-bengals-update-contract-standoff All of this is based on Jeremy Fowler saying that Hendrickson has "no interest in playing on his scheduled $16 million salary in 2025." Which we already knew, right? I mean, that's the whole reason this saga is saga-ing. But it's an excuses to freak out about a holdout (which will never happen) and get some clicks, I guess. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Thursday at 01:51 PM Report Posted Thursday at 01:51 PM I'm still curious about Pratt and him getting released at all. I made a comment about Golden being the linebackers coach when he was drafted. Pratt is certainly the type of LB Golden wants. Is that enough to keep him around? I'm not sure. With the noted bashing of Lou by Logan Wilson, I'm left to wonder if Pratt's concerns were related? Maybe Golden wants to hold onto him if for no other reason than depth. I really wouldn't complain. However, if Trey's situation is based on Pratt getting released, I'm good with that as well. Quote
