TJJackson Posted March 20 Report Posted March 20 BTW Army, with the federal government down to 17 remaining employees, are you still employed? and Skyline? Quote
ArmyBengal Posted March 20 Report Posted March 20 Thanks for asking TJ, I had to completely erase the rant I went on before posting this simple response. My job is pretty secure based upon what I do and who I interact with. I'll simply say that while being a right leaning moderate, I've really grown to hate the American public !! Except Bengals fans. You guys are cool by me. Everyone else can eat a dick. Quote
COB Posted March 22 Report Posted March 22 Winston signing with then Giants. So that leaves who for the Steelers to sign? Rogers? Cousins is there but he’ll want real money and probably some years, unlikely for the Steelers. They have screwed it up. Bring Russ back! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted March 22 Report Posted March 22 Winston, Rodgers, Cousins ?? All the same guys at this point. None of which I would want as a QB of my team. 1 Quote
HoosierCat Posted Monday at 01:36 AM Author Report Posted Monday at 01:36 AM I’m sure he’s fine. Was teaching in Nashville at last report. Quote
TJJackson Posted Monday at 02:23 AM Report Posted Monday at 02:23 AM Oh I thought Army and Skyline worked together same building and all Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Monday at 02:34 AM Report Posted Monday at 02:34 AM Nope, not Skyline. Hokie and I worked together once upon a time at the VA Medical Center. By worked together, I mean only in the same building. We have both moved on from those days. While I haven’t heard from him in quite some time, I suspect his new endeavor keeps him busy. As for me, I’d like to end up back at the VA because I truly miss being around and helping the Veterans and their families. Time will tell. The only thing we can control is how we react to the things that happen around us. A lesson I wish I would have learned when I was a younger man and still seem to struggle with today. Call it being a flawed man who continues to try… Quote
TJJackson Posted Monday at 02:43 AM Report Posted Monday at 02:43 AM ah yes Hokie, sorry So youre not at VA anymore either? Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Monday at 01:30 PM Report Posted Monday at 01:30 PM No worries... Nope not at the VA any longer, but hoping to change that by the end of the year. I'm in a holding pattern with that plan, but there's a plan nonetheless. When it's all said and done, I hope to have 40-50 years of serving this country one way or another. Quote
HoosierCat Posted Monday at 01:38 PM Author Report Posted Monday at 01:38 PM Assuming the VA still exists by the end of the year might be...optimistic. But best of luck! Quote

Many would like it to go away, but anyone truly holding that opinion doesn't understand that demographic and what pushing all of them into an already bloated civilian medical situation would do to them. Nothing like waiting 12 months to get in to see specialty providers. This is a topic for another forum though, so I will cease and desist. Looking at the schedule, the opponents and what they have done to this point, I'd like to bump my prediction to 11-6. I think the offense remains lethal and have faith Golden gets the defense to middle of the road. Give me the 16th ranked defense Golden and we might just be back in the championship game and more. 1 Quote
TJJackson Posted Tuesday at 06:48 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 06:48 AM I dont think Hoosier was saying he wishes the VA would cease to exist, rather it is how our Monarch-for-Life is firing all federal employees Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Tuesday at 01:29 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:29 PM No, no, I didn't take it that way at all. What federal agencies still exist come end of the year remains to be seen. Clearly, I'm an advocate for Veterans and always will be. 2 Quote
COB Posted Tuesday at 06:16 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 06:16 PM My dad used to say this country is great at making veterans, not all that great at taking care of them. 1 Quote

ArmyBengal Posted Wednesday at 12:23 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 12:23 PM Never disliked Chido, but his level of play has dropped off dramatically. Quote
TJJackson Posted Wednesday at 03:47 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 03:47 PM word is that Teven Jenkins signed for just a fingernail over 3M Tell me we couldnt have beaten that offer. COB Posted yesterday at 12:20 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:20 AM Dude the disrespect I receive from the drive-thru teenager at the heath Arby’s is no laughing matter. Chasing some teenagers off my lawn right now. Quote
HoosierCat Posted yesterday at 01:43 PM Author Report Posted yesterday at 01:43 PM Latest contributor to the PayJoe (and I guess now PayChase and PayTee funds, with the PayTrey fund on deck): Miami University. Quote The Cincinnati Bengals and Miami University have announced a new partnership that makes the school the official university of the beloved football team. Miami students will be given opportunities to work with the Bengals through internships, job shadowing, and on-campus speakers. The school will also be advertised on the Bengals' website and app, and on multiple channels throughout Paycor Stadium. The relationship will also let the school use Paycor Stadium for university events, work together on social media sponsorships, and open up brand alignment opportunities. Quote
