ArmyBengal Posted December 25, 2024 Report Posted December 25, 2024 Or whatever holiday you and yours celebrate, here’s to wishing it’s a good day for all of you !! Guess my talk to Santa fell on deaf ears this year. I got something for that fat fuck when he comes down the chimney. 1 Quote
Stripes Posted December 25, 2024 Report Posted December 25, 2024 I won’t entirely quit on the playoffs until they’re eliminated, so we have rooting interests today. Steelers over Chiefs (HURL) Texans over Ravens Keep the Chiefs fighting for the one seed and increase the probability (albeit remote) that Baltimore plays itself out of the division before we face Pittsburgh (i.e., if our game is flexed late). 1 Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 25, 2024 Report Posted December 25, 2024 Seated in the theater for my Christmas Day movie, Nosferatu! See y’all in a few hours. Quote
COB Posted December 25, 2024 Report Posted December 25, 2024 Merry Xmas to all. That horror movie is way too scary for me to watch, looking forward to hearing about it though. Quote

Director Robert Eggers is known for “art house horror,” so think more atmospherics, costuming, cinematography, etc., and less jump scares and gore (tho there’s a touch of each there, too). It’s a beautiful film to watch and the performances are excellent. But I wouldn’t really call it scary. Creepy might be closer. I think ultimately it suffers from being so familiar a story (it’s basically Dracula) that it’s hard to get immersed in it. But it’s still a fun ride. Quote

My son saw it, he loved it thanks to the atmosphere it created. That’s how he put it. below is a great story about Joe Burrow. https://apple.news/AQ_-uZ24-Q2KmRXPVfA4BVA Quote

ArmyBengal Posted December 27, 2024 Author Report Posted December 27, 2024 That Burrow story is a good one for sure. Made me go watch his Heisman speech again. Love that he's our QB. Hope the front office and coaches don't waste his talent. Quote
